Actually Muppets From Space is really skipable IMHO. If I weren't such a fan of the Muppets I would likely be much more harsh on the film. Pepe was really cool in it though! :)

I agree. I think that an announcement hasn't been made so far because Frank doesn't want to be in the limelight. Much more of a behind the scenes guy.

LOL! Well they both have great timing. I really think the Brando incident solidified Frank's quazi-retirement. I suspect he's completely retiring without making the announcement. I just hope there isn't one Piggy voice for the new shows and another for any films that are made.

Eeeek! My favorite Muppet film - the first one. If you have the chance, see it again. The DVD treatement is pretty cool with a little bit of extra stuff. You should check it out or rent it if it's available. I really feel it is the heart of the Muppets. :D

I agree. I think they should have made the change a while ago - pre Tresure Island - simply because of Frank's focus on other projects. He just didn't seem to have the same joy as he had in the 80s. And hey, he's had the same job his entire life. He deserves to move on, but it was at the expense...

Ken- I'm really sorry to hear about how the escalating criticism about the release dates and how it has affected you. I think many Muppet fans (me included) are not used to this crazy world of collectible figures. I really hope you will continue to provide us with current release date...

All of that sounds good. Don't know how I feel about a logo on Animal's t-shirt, but hey advertising pays the bills. LOL! :) If anyone obects to it they can always put a sticker over it I guess, though I wouldn't. So glad to hear about the variant Animal!!! Will he come with chains or anything...

I think we are solid on the idea that the in-store management of the TRU stores know very little about their inventory. Disappointing, but hey - buy the exclusives off their online site like I did. I remember that. I kind of meant the Muppet Show characters, I tend to refer to them as the Muppets and Sesame Street as, well - Sesame Street eventhough they are all Muppets. I don't know why that is. :)
