Well, I think Sesame Workshop does have the right to show earlier clips with :). After all, he appears regularly on 'Plaza Sesamo.' So why they don't play his clips on the current SS, besides in the famous "Doo dee rubber duck" is beyond me.
Yeah, and I'm glad I finally got to see the thunderstorm sketch where David and Olivia are mentioned. That's something you'd never see on today's 'Sesame Street' unfortunately.
It would be nice to see those on 'You Tube,' if not the whole eps just clips or street scenes like they had before with quite a few episodes. That would be a good stroll down memory lane.
Just to clear something up here. It was actually Richard Hunt who performed the first Piggy on TMS in the "temptation" number. Remember she was shared by Oz and Hunt in the first season. It was actually the second season when Frank became her solo performer. Maybe a little bit before that...
It's alright. I guess it would be hard to find the original clip of that anyway. But again, I get the idea of how Brian's Elmo sounded. It was still nice to hear that.
Good clip, but I'm a little confused about your description. Are you saying that Kevin just dubbed in Elmo's one line of dialogue? I thought he did it with all of his lines.
That one was cool. Come to think of it, they have had a few 'what happens next' themed episodes in recent seasons. They maybe could have updated that sketch and played it in some new eps. Just some food for thought.
Yeah, it would be nice to see Grover and CM together. Especially, since now they have different performers (Eric and David). They could put them together more often, but I really haven't seen it happen much. I'm not too fond of Abby being in the spotlight too much though, because that's sort...
Okay, let me give it a try.
(Big Bird and Elmo approach Hooper's Store.)
ELMO: There's Hooper's store, but it looks so different.
(Enter Mr. Hooper)
MR. HOOPER: How may I help you?
(Dialogue between BB and Elmo follows just the way the one between Grover and Elmo did with the...
I can finally comment on this since I've seen it recently on the PAX network. Yeah, definitely a good movie. I really liked the part with the tossed salad. And there's the part where Big Bird really does imagine seeing Snuffy. Strange that Snuffy was soon revealed after this. As for Marty's...
Hmmm. I hadn't really thought of that. Big Bird could easily pay as well even if we don't see it, or Susan and Gordon could pay the tab or even Bob or Maria or Luis. Something to think about.
I hadn't really thought about that, but it does seem like Hooper's gives away a lot of stuff for free (Big Bird's milkshake, Baby Bear's pooridge, etc.) Makes me wonder if Bert and Ernie really needed to trade their prized possessions that one Christmas Eve.
Hmmm. I think a Grover puppet did show up in the one about the Bird Flu. He didn't really do anything though. He was just in the trashcan with the other characters. I might be mistaken though.
I agree, especially considering the recent ep where Gordon didn't believe anybody about Herb the dinosaur. Seems like he's more skeptical now than he was years ago.
