I thought that was Frank. I have to keep the sound low to avoid having my mom hear. (That's also how I missed Gina saying "Bye, Kevin.") Anyway, the little I heard did sound like Frank. He also voiced Grover in the Russian restaurant sketch. I guess they still want him around from...
That was Kevin? He went by so fast I couldn't tell. I almost thought it was Gordon. Does anybody know who the older guy was?
Yeah. That's lucky for me too. (If I don't have to work or be anywhere else at the time) Anyway, I accidentally read a few spoilers here about the episode that...
Yeah. It seems like most E&B segments they play these days are new ones or repeats from last season. (Like today's about the pigeon toes) We haven't really seen too much of Henson's Ernie this year. But I guess we can't complain about that too much since most earlier E&B sketches are already...
Okay, I missed the first part yesterday so I got a bit behind. I didn't know Maria went with Gina to Guatemala. Anyway, I saw today's ep and I thought it was really good. Kudos to Gordon for mentioning the adoption of Miles. I was also impressed when Elmo said he remembered that. He was...
Yeah. I missed today's because I was out and I might be out in the morning again later in the week. I would like to have seen today's ep. I did catch the end. I'd hoped they would have had more with Gina in Guatemala since they usually do that when episodes are continuous, but instead they...
I've caught it on You Tube, so it has been there at least. It's true Eric's Guy voice didn't sound quite right. But I'd still like to see him brought back. Maybe Steve could give him a try. He's a bit better with Jim's characters.
That was a pretty common mistake. I remember one time in my chemistry class we were talking about Sesame Street for some reason or other and at the end of class, the teacher played a tape of SS songs. One of them was "The Question Song" and he said that it was Prarie singing. I didn't realize...
Yeah. I don't think Henson's death would have had much to do with it, since at the time, Henson didn't do too much on the show considering Ernie and Kermit were only shown in inserts. Though I do wonder if the show would be like it is now if he were still around today. I sort of doubt it.
Poor Bob. Even his girlfriend sided against him.
Yeah. That kind of got to me too. As someone posted on that thread, is Gordon going to start renaming everyone now? He might vote to name Big Bird, Yellow Feathery Fellow or to call cookie monster Food Freak. Lol.
Yeah. I checked Sonia's article on that and apparently I was wrong. Sonia said that her daughter was to be on the show for three years before she was replaced so in "Elmo's Song" from 1992, it probably would have been Gabi Rose Rgan running around the set. What I don't get is why they were...
Boy if I weren't a Scooby-Doo fan, I'd complain that we were getting way off the topic of "Sesame Street." Lol.
I have to agree Linda Cardellini is very attractive. Maybe even more so than Sarah Michelle Gellar. I especially liked her on "Boy Meets World." I agree with you on that one, Bear.
Hmmmm. I didn't think it was from that early on. But I guess your right. Maybe they should make a new skit where they ephasized Bert's personality more. It would be cool to see something like that.
Hmmm. I hadn't thought about it before but you're right. In fact, I don't think they played that one on the show in recent years either. How could we have overlooked that classic segment? :p :(
That's a good point. I wondered about that too. I mean, I think it's obvious Ernie's not too...
That's a good anology. Though, I have to say that Fred has matured in recent years. He's still kind of a 'straight man,' but he seems to be more fun loving and a bit goofy at times, rather than being always serious like in the earlier eps. I guess you could say the same for Bert. He was kind...
I think I see what they mean, by 'Not for Kids.' In recent years, they do tend to reach out to younger kids. (Ex. Someone not knowing what a 'button' was, Elmo not knowing how to use the phone) There was more adult humor in the earlier years. I'll take a look at that article and see what...
To tell the truth, I didn't think that was the best one anyway. I feel like they could have done more with that like show Ernie with pigeons or dusting paper clips or things like that. Just my opinion.
I know what you mean. I checked the pbs website and it seems that where I live, they're starting all over again from the beginning. At least that's what they're doing with the afternoon episodes. I'll have to keep checking to see where they are with the morning eps. I got the "Ask Oscar" one...
