I thought there was a bit of a difference there. In the "Near, Far" skit, I thought Elmo sounded a bit like Herry, while in "We are all Monsters," it sounded more like a generic Jerry Nelson voice. I wish the "Near, Far" one was still up so I could listen to both and make a better comparison.

Actually, I've haven't seen Gordon and Gina interact that much anyway. Actually, according to Muppet Wiki, it was sometime around 1990 or 1991 that the name 'Gordon Robinson' was revealed, but maybe Lincoln's right and Muppet Wiki is wrong. I do remember Gina being new on the show in the 80s.

Well, if that happened, I think they should at least play classic clips with Jerry's Count so he won't be forgotten. After all, when Jim Henson died, they still played old clips with Ernie and Kermit before Steve took over.

I'd really like to see that one in English. I'm also wondering if this was the only one with Kevin's Elmo. I know he was in "Me, Cladius" where he was played by even Jerry or Brian. I think the MT sketches sort of ended just when Elmo was getting popular.

Yeah. The two characters had a nice duet of "One Little Star" in "Follow That Bird." It would have been nice if they could have redone that song on the show where they were actually singing together, aware of each other's existence.

Yeah. And I've noticed the one with 'hot' on 'You Tube' as well. I didn't notice much of a change in his voice there. Those two aren't the best ways to introduce fans to a Brian Muehl Telly.

Yeah. I've noticed that was Jerry Nelson doing his voice, though it might have been Michael Earl Davis in the costume. Marty took over the role before the grownups met Mr. S. I'm guessing that one was around 1978 or 1979 because the Sesame Disco album came out around that time.

I have to agree. Brian's Telly seemed to sound kind of like a depressed Cookie Monster. For the most part I prefer Marty's. Thanks for putting both those up though. Now that I finally heard Brian's Telly, I can sleep tonight. Lol.

I have to agree with that. As well as Steve and Eric and all the new guys are doing, Henson was pretty much irreplacable. I did think the joke was funny though. I must be a bad boy for saying that. Lol.
