Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

<<1. Grover popping Ernie's balloons. And that's one of the rare times those two were together. >> I want to comment on that one, since we previously had a thread about Grover's first sketch. I honestly thing that one might have been filmed before his "Whistle a Happy Tune" song, considering...

Casting for "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol" DVD

Actually, that was sort of already done in "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays." I can't really comment on "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" because I haven't seen that one. I see what you're saying though, especially considering the Muppets did "A Christmas Carol" a while back.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

Yeah. I saw that one for the first time last Monday. Then I'll get the "Ask Oscar" episode on Friday. (I only saw the street scene of that one) I'm hoping my station will soon start playing the ones I didn't see, so I can get caught up. I didn't see, the "Frank Oz" tag on the toaster...

    Thanks, Ernie. I appreciate that.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Hey, I'm sorry if I sounded a little selfish in my last post. It's just that my dad was driving me crazy. Anyway, what I was saying, is that there might be fans of the show who might not by the DVD, so I believe that putting pieces of early episodes on 'You Tube' is a pretty good idea.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

I don't know. I might not buy the set. I might be uncomfortable going into a store and have people see me buy a "Sesame Street" disk. Plus, I'm still stuck with my parents. They might not want to see that lying around. Heck, my dad is following me around even as we speak and I can't watch...

Lack of charachters in the early 1980's

I'd really like to see that one. I did read about it on Muppet Wiki, but they didn't say too much about it other than it was to explain "some," "none," and "all." That would be a good one for 'You Tube.'

Casting for "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol" DVD

A robot? Maybe they'll bring back Sam. Just a thought.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

I'd like to make a few comments here. I liked seeing the 1971 closing credits as well, but what I'm wondering was did they last more than that one season? I know the credits would have been different when cast changes were made, but other than that. Did they last until the Barkley closings...

    Bob Johnson?

I've noticed that too. I've never heard of him called Bob Johnson. It seems like Muppet Wiki may be making the same mistake that imdb.com makes calling David, David Robinson.

The Grouchkateer's originated as "The Grouch Club"

I can think of another Grouchkateer story I remember, but vaguely. I think what happened was that Snuffy found an old piece of trash and he mentioned the dump where it came from. Then they all go to the dump or something like that. I'm not sure about all of what happened, but that's about as...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Thanks for posting those. I checked out the one with Sam the Robot. That was interesting, not only seeing him, but seeing Hal Miller. I've seen quite a few clips with Matt Robinson, but that was the first one with Hal I've seen. I'd like to see more of him on You Tube.

    Gabi & Miles

According to Muppet Wiki, that's her full name. Apparently Sonia Monzono married a Mr. Regan and she kept her maiden name on the show. Lol. I'll check out that article.

    Gabi & Miles

Well, thanks for the info. I'm still a bit confused though. If Gabi Rose Regan was still playing the role in 1992, she would have been only three years old. I don't think BB, Snuffy and Elmo would be calling for somebody that young. Then again, I guess it is possible, considering Elmo's only...

    Kermit on Martha

Yeah. Me neither, but I liked the rest of the song. I actually didn't mind his mentions of Piggy or Fozzie, but it would have been nice to actually see them. Hopefully, they'll have some TV appearances as well.

    Gabi & Miles

I have a question while we're still on this topic. I know Miles was played by three actors, but was Gabi played by anyone else after Sonia's daughter left? I noticed that Muppet Wiki states that Desi wasn't on the show until 1993 and Gabi Monzono (actually Rose Regan) left in 1991. The...

    Question about Count

Hmmm. I thought the writers were doing pretty good with the Count recently. After all, he did have a few street scenes last season. As for this season, they made quite a bit of new material and he appeared in the season premire. Though you also have to consider the fact that Jerry Nelson's...
