    Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4506 - Fifteen’s Quinceanera

The lyricist of the song also wrote the episode. So, I theorize the song was originally intended for this episode, but they put it in the other for time reasons.

    Muppeteer Fran Brill's official retirement

Not really. Only Prairie was sort of phased out, but this past year she seemed to be being phased back in. So, who knows what'll come of that.

    Muppeteer Fran Brill's official retirement

AH, I see. Then that might explain it. I still don't see how they couldn't have gotten his voice-over somehow. Billy B. was doing the voice as a separate recording, so it doesn't make sense that they couldn't have gotten Steve at some point after to dub over the lines.

    Muppeteer Fran Brill's official retirement

Zoe and Prairie, who knows. But none of those others have been used in a while so who cares?

    Muppeteer Fran Brill's official retirement

Muppets Most Wanted was filmed between January and April 2013; season 45 was filmed in the fall of 2013. So, unless Steve had to cancel to do some post-production stuff or dubbing, there's no Disney-related reason for his absence.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Well, this most recent collection and last week's had some unaired bits that were shown internationally.

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4505 - Enthusiastic Penelope Penguin

Well, they only upload 4 bits a week from the new shows, so they have enough material to last them until the next new episodes air.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Try using the "call" feature instead of text if that's what's been happening.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

I can assure you it's not the same person. (BTW, Joe from TP works at Sesame Workshop, not Ryan).

    The Furchester Hotel

BBC iPlayer. You need to get around the international block though.

    The Furchester Hotel

I saw the first episode; it seems alright. Could be a bit funnier though. But, one can't judge a whole series on the first episode. I do wish they explained how Elmo and Cookie got there, though.

Your Thoughts: Muppets Most Wanted on Blu-ray and DVD

He's not in the movie. I don't understand why you can't grasp that/why you're so obsessed with it.

    Galavant "Thoughts"

I think kind of the problem of sitcoms today is they have the character's initial drive be some goal. Gallavant's clearly is to get revenge on the king. Are they gonna drag it out if it gets another season? If it does, what does he do if he gets the king at the end of season 1? In Selfie, the...

Potential new Cookie Monster segment in development

As part of their 45th anniversary exhibit at Lincoln Center, SW is having monthly events at the center's facilities. Last Friday was a "Muppet Master Class". Marty gave various lessons/techiniques on puppetry; it was an informal thing. There were several people there from previous workshops, though.

Potential new Cookie Monster segment in development

Don't get too used to "Cookie's Crumby Pictures." I chatted with Annie Evans briefly after the "Muppet Master Class" last week and she said the producers are looking to find a different segment avenue for Cookie Monster. Apparently, CCP is too "limiting" and there's too many movies to chose from...

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4502 - Bert's Training Wheels

Oh wow, I'm dumb. I thought they played Repair Monster the Musical because it had a bicycle in it. Then I realized the word of the day was "repair." D'oh!

    Galavant "Thoughts"

I found, what seems to be, the first few minutes of the pilot: http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/07/galavant-extended-trailer.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Seeing an extended piece, it looks pretty decent (that song is really dam-n good). I too can't see it going beyond season 1...

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4503 - Proud to Be Me

I liked "Spanish Me, English Me", mainly for the fact that it was an AM segment that wasn't a spoof. We haven't had one of those since, coincidentally, "I Love My Hair".

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4503 - Proud to Be Me

The similarities are that he's out of the set the main series is shot in and in the real world interacting with real people and things, and pretty much kept to his own vignettes.
