Yeah. I remember his appearance as Santa in ESC. I'll have to watch that this season. With the loss of him, Kevin and Jerry this year, that will be a nice tribute. I really didn't know he was Doc Hopper. I guess I'll have to watch that one again too.
I didn't think about it. Would this have been taped before Kevin's departure or is he still doing TMS characters, or maybe that wasn't Kevin? I don't know. I missed that scene altogether:
:):o:concern:: I don't know. I missed that scene.
Was that even on the NBC version? Just curious there...
Zoinks! Like, yeah. He's quite a groovy actor! Man!
It's nice to hear a Jerry Nelson voice in general. Although I never was much of a fan of his Statler voice, it's nice to hear him as well as his other characters (ex: Robin). I think this is the last movie he participated in fully...
Actually, I don't think that really was Steve Irwin. I think that was just an actor impersonating him, but as usual, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah. I can understand other cuts, like the NBC logo on Kermit's foot, but cutting the "Scrubs" scene takes something away, because you see  come back out of nowhere. Looks like I'll still have to watch my DVD to look for that scene. Then they have to have more commercial breaks to fill...
I don't know. I could picture a Robin smilie. I think he'd be distinguishable from :) being smaller and without the collar. (That wasn't supposed to rhyme.) I could also picture a Gordon smilie or maybe Maria holding a wrench for :handy:. It worked in the picture that Big Bird drew one...
So when and where are we actually going to see this episode that they're talking about? I thought it was supposed to be at the website they mentioned last Tuesday, but so far I haven't seen it...
Yeah. I think MTI is one of the earliest of Kevin's performances of TMS characters outside of "Sesame Street," I mean. I think he also did the puppeteering for Piggy and Fozzie while Frank later looped in the voice.
Well, recall that he did voice Buster the Horse in the earlier Forgetful Jones sketch in 1979 or 1980, but I guess that was before he was on the show full-time.
I wondered about that too, because I have heard in the past that Kevin's first performance as  was in the episode where Big...
Yeah. I'd say that it was more of a movie invention, but the pig who took Fozzie's role in the Chloris Leechman episode which came a year before the movie said "Hoga Hoga" which was definitely a "Wocka wocka" parody, so it had to have been before then, yet your guess is as good as mine.
Really? I've been wondering about that too. After all, they did talk about Casper's history in the movie. Slimer's is still in question, especially how he got so slimey where Casper is more of just a semi-visible being with no slime/ecto plasm whatsoever. Okay. I'm getting way off topic. I...
Yeah. I probably shouldn't have brought that up, but I agree with what you said. They probably should have done something about these situations years before it came to this. The trouble is we live in a corrupt world and no one is immune to the tragedies they face.
I know what you mean, Dwayne. Seems like Kevin's departure hasn't stopped people from harassing him.
Yeah. I worry that things like this may start to happen with Carroll Spinney and the others. I hope and pray I'm wrong on this, but this seems to be a never-ending cycle.
Okay. Let me try one.
Boy Meets World
Cory: Kermit
Topanga: Miss Piggy
Shawn: Gonzo
Eric: Fozzie
Morgan: Annie Sue
Mr. Feeny: Waldorf or Statler
Mr. & Mrs. Matthews: Wayne and Wanda
Mr. Turner: Pepe
I won't get into the later-added characters (Jack, Rachel, etc.) now. I'll start with...
Well, if we're going with Muppet forum members, that would make me Larry. Hey, then I'd have better luck with women. :)
Maybe that's because they already did something similar on "Muppets Tonight!" They probably should have used Kermit, Piggy, etc. for that since puppet versions of MB do...
I was going to ask the same thing. I'm assuming if this is airing soon, it may have been taped prior to Kevin's departure.
I know we're getting a bit off subject with this, but again, I can understand since I was wondering as well.
