Well, you never know. After all, Miles was recently written out of the cast and his disappearance was never really explained, so I don't know. It's sort of the same with Bob. I kind of agree with what Dwayne mentioned about why they added Chris and Leela. I am a little concerned that they...
It's okay, Kathy. I see what you're saying and I can sort of see both sides. With all that's been going on, it may seem like the street has seen it's days, but considering this is one of the longest-running childrens' shows watched by people all over the world, I don't think they're considering...
Yeah. I've heard about that too, but I have been thinking that Elmo will probably show up in live appearances on talk shows or whatever, since I know they often do that when they promote the new season of SS. Plus there's always the Macy's parade. I don't know how many times they can do a...
Okay. Thanks, antsamthompson. I don't have time to go through 84 minutes of that now even if I am just skipping around to find :) and . But I'll definitely check it out later on.
Oh, okay. I thought it would be online somewhere. I didn't know you needed to purchase it on iTunes, but I may consider that. I'll have to see how much money I have in my account.
You know that's very possible, since I know a different Big Bird is used when Matt performs him. I'm thinking they should let Kevin keep his. That would be convenient for if he ever decides to return to the show in the future, but I really don't know what the deal is with that.
If we're going for Elmo (Kevin) and the Count (Jerry) moments, I want to mention that one of my favorites is the conversation they had in "Elmo Saves Christmas." That's one of the best moments in that special, seems like the two of them always had quite a close relationship. (Both the...
Like, if they were going to do a closeup of her, she totally should have had a speaking line. Rully.
Yeah. I saw the preview where they showed :) on SNL. Wow! Two Tuesday appearances and a Wednesday appearance. That frog really gets around.
I guess it shouldn't be too hard. Look how good a job Steve has done with Kermit for the past 22 years or Eric with Piggy, Fozzie, etc. I guess the trick is to find someone with that kind of talent. I mean, we'll all miss Kevin, but if recasting is inevitable, then we just need to have faith...
I may want to take you up on that offer, Dwayne. My life is pretty crappy as well, maybe I'll message you later on.
Yeah. I know what you mean. We'd definitely want whoever performs Elmo next to at least sound like Kevin's Elmo since he was the one who made him what we know today. For...
One thing I wonder about is what will happen in next year's parade. Will that will be the first time we'll hear someone else as Elmo? I don't think Kevin's Elmo voice will be prerecorded that far in advance unless they do a recording of a song from a past year or something. Just something I was...
They probably should have just said "the cast of Sesame Street" so it wouldn't have been as confusing. About the voices, I guess we've established that Elmo was a possibility. I really didn't catch anything with the Count, if I get a chance to see it elsewhere, I'll have to listen to that...
Yeah. I know what you mean. I don't watch the repeats, because I feel like I've seen them before. Yet they did air the Telly and Oscar thing with the letter B in a repeat episode so you never know and I probably made the same comment before. Lol.
Yeah. I was wondering who his puppeteer was...
Yeah. I thought of that as well, but having a "Muppets Celebrate Kevin Clash" might be too far fetched since he's still alive and I don't think they'd feel comfortable telling children about what went on with that. It's a good thought though.
Prerecorded? I didn't think of that. Okay, so now if I hear Kevin singing as Elmo tomorrow I won't be in the dark as to what's going on with that. Lol.
Sorry to double post again. I keep forgetting to use the edit command.
Actually that's more than I knew. I sort of thought even after the accuser recanted. Kevin just felt uncomfortable out of what happened. I didn't hear about what happened afterwards.
I've actually been thinking about the situation about how we won't hear a new Elmo voice for a few years...
