I can certainly remember Season 34 essentially being the Telly, Baby Bear, and Zoe season - so many episodes seemed to revolve around the three of them.
Vocal-wise, Brian, to me, was one of the more versatile performers they had, but I agree, there was something about his manipulation, moreso his lipsyncing, that I always found somewhat . . . odd. Rusty from the Camp Echo Rock story arc is perhaps the best example I can think of, where you can...
As I've before, my only criticism of Leslie (albeit minor) is a lack of vocal range - many of her characters sound like a variation of Abby. But then again, Frank was kind of the same way in the past, many of his one-shot and incident characters sounded like variations of Bert.
As for...
Okay, really? For years, I've been speaking out about how YouTube screws us over, but it always falls on deaf ears - now, since PewDiePie is a huge YouTuber will millions of subscribers speaking out about the same thing, suddenly everybody is agreeing that more people need to start speaking out...
Well, since we don't have the frown thread anymore, I guess this could go here, but they finally have in custody the ones who are responsible for the wildfires that spread into Gatlinburg last week, and as is turns out, it's a couple of kids (or, more accurately, juvenile delinquents). See, this...
I'm not even talking about atheism (and to be fair, a lot of atheists and agnostics celebrate Christmas, just not the spiritual aspect of the holiday, but rather, the secular/commercial aspect of it), I just find it kind of unexpected to see he's put out Christmas songs (or at least one that I...
KEL: Man, I can't believe we got locked out of Chris's momma's house! Why does this stuff always happen to us?
KENAN: (Beat) Well, remember when I said, "Kel, grab the key"?
KEL: Yeah.
KENAN: Why didn't you!?
KEL: You were serious about that? Man, I thought you were tellin' a joke!
KENAN: "A...
Going through one of my old CN (specifically, C&C) tapes yesterday, I'm reminded of the one thing I missed about the original CN.com website: the DOC (Department of Cartoon) section. Remember, you could browse through model sheets, storyboard pages, and production notes of their different shows...
Sometimes they needed to position guitars better, as they look as if they're holding them too far out to the side, rather than in front of them; it's painfully obvious with the lead Beetle in "Letter B."
Wait, this was yesterday? Why were email notifications and such sent out today? Oh well, I'll look at the videos later and see for myself.
On a side note, people in my area aren't too happy about Harry's new show, because it took over the timeslot reserved for local reruns of Andy Griffith...
Rewatching the interview, it's interesting that almost all of David's changes to the set were the result of what he felt like was getting the street back on track with urban evolution (and even using drawings that kids made to get a better idea of how they see their urban landscape), because he...
I'll go along with that, they do have a tendancy of playing the same songs over and over again (but then again, regular radio is that way as well), but somehow it seems more noticeable now than before. Like I said back during Halloween, it didn't go unnoticed that Comcast didn't play any...
I see this year on Comcast's Sounds of the Seasons Christmas playlist, they've done away with quite a bit of their more traditional Christmas songs, but have added quite a number of newer songs by the likes of, who else, Bieber, Taylor ****, Ariana Grande, and Meghan Trainor.
I've touched on this recently, but I didn't really go too deep into it, but now I am, and this is a serious rant, because this is suddenly becoming a growing problem, and from the perspective of someone like myself, this is somewhat sad and ridiculous.
So anyway, there's huge YouTube channels...
Looking at the notes SW sent David, they were suggesting that Cookie, Alan, and Leela live above Hooper's . . . which is just one apartment . . . so, there's some interesting three's company dynamics.
But, I guess they originally intended to keep Leela if she was mentioned in production notes...
It's nice to see more of his conceptual designs to the set before the actual changes were made . . . and we get a better look at a glimpse of what we saw in the Mannequin Challenge video - it looks like he had a number of more changes planned for the set that never got made.
I can really see...
