Our Thanksgiving was a little short this year, but the circumstances were understandable: my cousin had fallen sick, so he stayed home; meanwhile, his wife spent Thanksgiving with her family this year. A little smaller gathering, yes, but still enjoyable.

I can attest to that from the times I've had to babysit my bratty niece when she was growing up. But like I said, it's an age-old stigma.

I made a pecan pie for Thanksgiving this year - the first time I've ever made one . . . unfortunately, it apparently turned out more like a pecan cobbler instead. I think it's because it's an age-old stigma that girls, in general, are the kinder, gentler, sweeter sex, so she's probably thinking one less boy running around and causing mayhem will be a sigh of relief.

But do you see the point I'm making, though? I mean, it's okay for some people to beg and grovel for attention and other people are okay with it, but if I so much as even ask somebody to look at something I've worked on, I'm somehow a desperate attention w#0r3?

As rough as this year has been, really the big thing that I'm thankful for is that I survived. I feel like the future's only going to get rougher and rougher from this point on, so I suppose I just have to bear with it.

I vaguely remember this one - I'm pretty sure I saw it, but didn't actually watch it . . . again, admittedly, Season 31 was during a time where I actually was "growing out of" the Muppets, and was watching considerably less SST than I was during Season 30.
