The only ones worth buying or getting or whatever are:
*Muppets Inside! PC CD-ROM (1996, starwave)
THEEEE Best Muppet video game, period. I mean Swedish Chef DOOM, just brillaint.
*Muppet Pinball Mayhem(2002) for the game boy advance. Its pinball, but I consider it one of the best...
Well, with VMC they didn't get any real 'hip' cameos...so at least they are making an effort by getting visceral indie film stalwart Tarantino on board.
Personally, I think just to mix it up even more they should get Busta Rhymes, Marilyn Manson, and Eminem...I mean, they gotta add some sort...
QT! QT! QT! Perhaps Disney does have some edge left...wow, that is very very good news. Can anyone tell us if this production will try to be somewhat of the edgy flavor hinted at in AVMMCM?
No other company in the history of figures can even come close to matching Palisade's relationship and input/output with the fans. It's been this way for over 3 years now.
man, I had no idea our own wiggy was a sculpter! I remember someone on MC also did this amazing skeksis figure(like dark crystal figures will ever be made)
anyways, congrats man.
I think the last time we saw any quanity of singing vegetables was in the Cliff's Nightmare episode of the Cosby...
Indeed, the Muppet Television half hour portion of the Jim Henson Hour is by *far* my favorite Muppet show series ever produced. I mean, maybe it was me being 11 in 1989 in awe of the techno edginess of the series...but Ive since seen all the episodes(including the strange 1987 pilot 'Inner...
Right on! I remember how happy I was when someone told me a 'Cory You' credit appeared on the back of the Steppin out Beaker and Bunsen. I thought that was pretty nifty. Its just another cool fan thing, how Palisades puts Muppet Central fans listed as credits on the back of packaging. Anyways...
Holy tamole, Luke is it your birthday again? My goodness...remember what I said about ocming in waves? But I digress...
Luke, you have been what I'd consider the corner stone and the voice of knowlege and reason within the Muppet fandom community. I remember when ya first came on around...
We KNOW for a fact, just by hunch, the following will be in it:
Kermit
Piggy
Gonzo
Fozzie
Pepe
Rizzo
Electric Mayhem w/ Animal
Bobo
Rowlf
Scooter
Statler
Waldorf
Sam Eagle
Lew Zealand
Penguins
That's just a given...but I wonder what long lost Muppets we'll see in cameo roles.
Ive had this running joke with coworkers or friends...as obviously not many people say 'maise-noi maise no"(original sweedish version) or mahna mahna...that words similair like phenomenon or monotony deserve a 'doot do doot do doot" ^__^
Yeah that's probably my fave one too, along with 'Be As Loud As You Want To"...good stuff. I really think the show is ooverwhelmingly positive, from the message I see in the songs and from reading about it. It's too bad the official position of JHC/Sesame is too distance themself from liking it.
Luke, any idea how this show is doing...and if it means more Alf to come? Or is it a last hurrah? I dont have cable so I have no idea how this show is being recieved. Also, any chance the Alf cartoon will ever be on dvd? Call it heresy, but I was more a fan of the cartoon than the sitcom.
Last Sunday me and BooberGorg got to see They Might Be Giants in Santa Cruz...during the show I had this crazy idea for a comic strip that features
the Mahna Mahna 'doot do doot' snowths:

Yeah Doglion's pain is noithing like the photo shown, but I can't complain. Finally, seeing mini Muppet figures in packaging reminds me of how excited I was to see Kenner restart the SW line in 1995. Im not sure at what point Ken and them will say 'ok, enough have been bought to justify the...
Cookie Monster was on a very psychadelic episode of Martha Stewart a couple years ago...ya know, before Martha traded in stroopwaffles for striped denim;)
Genki Birthday Buck-Beaver-san! Man, someone a couple years ago noted that birthdays come in waves, do they ever:) I wish you the best of luck with your puppetry pursuits and hope this year paves the way for a glorious 2005 for you.
I'd offer some cake, but all I have is saltines and top ramen.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Bruno. And Splurge! That guy rocks. I do not consider anything Creaure Shop(Dinosaur, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Storyteller, etc) Muppets tho. I think that's a seperate thing all its own.
I've since seen this great classic bootlegged, the only way any fan can see it outside of Europe. Oddly enough the film is about the perspective of a freed slave, and is a celebration of tales in the midst of adversity. Perhaps the fact it deals with slavery at all in a children's story manner...
Hey, it's your birthday again Kevin? doot do doot do doot, do do do doot...doot do doot do doot...do doot do do doot do...Happy Birthday! May you and Muley find the path of dreams...sippin' on Cristal, and bling blingin' it! :)
