that would explain it, as theres still no word on these. From the last word on it on the site, it made it sound like they might consider 2 a month instead of the 1 a month idea.
Man, between this and Tim Burton's stop animation Corpse Bride, the era of ornate noir fantasy is back! I hope they announce an actual date soon for this.
JHC was poised to take the Muppets to a whole new level...to bring the Muppets back with an edgy new style...sadly, this glorious dream fizzled away. There is a 5 minute Fox Muppet Show pitch with Kermit and Pepe produced in late 2002, that has some 'colorful' language;)
Do you mean the 11,700 Iraqi civilians killed since the start of this false war?
As millions of people live in Iraq. Bush already had a plan with his cronies to go into Iraq way before he was even elected...everyone knows he jused used the tragedy of 9/11 to twist everyones arm into this and...
coincidence? heh. Well, bush vs kerry...lesser of two evils. I wish there was a viable 3rd candidate, but my vote is going for the guy who didnt lie to us and send our troops into harms way for nothing.
whoah, MTM on the big screen after all these years(well, for one theatre, one time only?) thats very cool. I remember when I saw that when it came out ago(Im not that old, I swear!) and itll be nice for kids to get to experience that.
Heck, MFS...EiGL...who cares if they kind of suck, I'd...
I have untold legions of fans/readers/admiriers for my webcomic, but its been awhile that I can recall that I had this sort of thing. Congrats Kevin^___^
It wasnt that long ago where it seemed Muppet(Muppet Show, Sesame, Bear) related tie-ins were popping up everywhere with fast food eateries...from Wendy's, Burger King UK/Australia, Sbarro, Subway, Dairy Queen, etc.
I think the best of which was last year, when Jack in the Box had a line of 7...
POO! I thought this was a thread talking about a new Subway/Muppets promotion...the last time that happened was 1999 with Bear in the Big Blue House. Sesame Street so far usually only does tie ins with Mrs. Fields and Sbarr (Sbarro, the only eatery to do promotions with Muppets, Sesame, and Bear).
sadly, even tho there is that 'college kid cool' factor, anything JH related is seen as baby stuff(even dark crystal or labyrinth) to most people...and yeah, that Disney thing aint gonna help either.
Its too bad when people lose their sense of imagination or wodner...those are the people...
Three episodes? Less than $10??? Super sweet!
Maybe Disney buying out the Muppets inadvertently had a positive effect on the Fraggle Rock franchise.
For under $10, no reason not to get these!
I can guarantee it is certainly not Sesame figures...Fraggle Rock is beyond remote at this point...theatre is possible...The theatre is the only thing I can think of(wha woudl that be, $100 retail?)
My friend said "Cooking With Al Roker" is available for a $1 at most dollar stores now...life would be so complete to see the grand seraphim heirophant-weatherman using his culinary art skills in a display of taste-tastic expression!
Was he even referencing something Muppet related? My guess is the Muppet theatre which would be beyond cool...even a Muppet theatre for the minis would rock. Man, I so hope digit gets made in 2005, at least in mini version.
And HOLY CRAP....that "omgcheapfigureslookatus!111.com" site is the...
I feel bad for the kids growing up in poor families who can only afford the cheap knockoffs(having been raised in the 80's in said poor family) Yes, they had these SAME exact dollar stores in the 80's, and they have not changed one bit in look or merchandise since 1985:)
That Rowlf is just out of hand...why oh why cant these be articulated?
For me the detail on these really do something for me that a lot of the 6" versions fail to capture. I mean that Rowlf, wow.
I really do hope these get made...heck I'd probably have to find a way to shell out for the...
