Yeah, when I read April 2nd, I thought April Fool's jokes were over. That's a good way to do it though. Play the jokes on a different day when people aren't expecting it. Lol. That worked for Joey Gladstone.
But it's just as well since I can't stay up that late and I don't have the means of...
That would be cool. I always thought CM lived in the 123 Sesame Street apartment with the rest of the gang. It's the Count's residence that always confused me though, since they say he lives in Transylvania. Yet he's close enough to SS to make regular visits there.
Okay, here's what I heard in my local news....

SESAME STREET 46 NEWS
We all know that Sesame Street is getting a new format and a new opening and closing for season 46. But here is more SS news.
⦁ New episodes of Bert and Ernie's...
Actually, I thought it did sound like Eric's Grover, but I thought Frank performed him in most of the Grover/Fat Blue segments (though I know it was Eric in the "rhyming day" sketch). That's what kind of confused me. I know it was Frank in the coffee sketch. Hope to see that one again soon.
I liked that they redid the Grover/Fat Blue segment about the letter V. I believe they used Frank's Grover for this one. Plus that was a good new segment with Grover and Michelle Obama.
Yeah. That would make sense since it seems like Roscoe wore a wig in a flashback from around the time of season 35, the ep where Gordon, Miles and Grampa Robinson started a band.
That would also make sense since using the orange Oscar would probably confuse kids who didn't know that Oscar...
That sounds cool, Sesamemuppetfan. Unfortunately, I don't have 45 minutes to listen to this now. But I'll keep that in mind for later on. But I'd like to hear Gordon and Susan's wedding. (Can't help but wonder if they'd use Matt Robinson or Garrett Saunders for the flashback. Lol.)
Those are good thoughts. See, SW knows we can watch the classic material online and on DVDs or wherever, so we get Classic Sesame Street and kids get the SS of today. The trouble is that the show used to be aimed at kids and adults as well. Heck, I often watch the shows from the 80s and 90s...
Yeah. I just read on Muppet Wiki that there changing the opening and closing. Yeah. They do need to get away from the Murray format. I'm okay with them keeping him as a regular character on the show, but as for him hosting, that never really appealed to me.
I'd like to see them bring back...
Yeah. I've been thinking about that and maybe it would be a good idea to have :wisdom: and :grouchy: have separate puppeteers when the time comes so it will allow more interaction between the two of them. After all, that's why Dave was given :insatiable: rather than Eric. :)
Sorry, but I can't help being curious, but was that Carroll or Eric as Oscar there? I thought the voice sounded a bit different and we know know that Eric is understudying for Carroll as the grouch, so just thought I'd ask.
Those were gloves? Lol. I was wondering how that was done.
I was thinking about that too. In fact, I was a bit surprised when he actually peeled the banana rather than eating it whole. So there are a few "out of character" moments for cookie there.
