Not to mention the fact that not everybody got Disney channel, so I didn't see the second season eps until they were put online.
I agree with the comments about the fact about :) hosting. Clifford is great and all, but like someone said, he may have been better as a background character since...
I agree there. I noticed a change in the voice in the last B & E episode, but in this ep I might not have noticed it wasn't Steve. Seems like Billy is getting better each time.
I caught Alan, Chris, Leela, Maria and Luis. Of course Mando wasn't there, but we won't count him since he was...
Oh, right. How could I forget about Baby Animal's appearance in MFC? That was one of Animal's best moments.
(Seeing baby Animal play with wrapping paper)
All: Awwwww, Animal.
(Adult Animal crashes through the screen)
All: Awwwwww, Animal!
Scooter: Some things never change.
Good point, because obviously chicken's feelings are way more important than the feelings of a mere number. Makes sense actually because numbers aren't actually supposed to be alive in the first place. Lol.
And they're still babies after all these years. :)
BTW, I loved the live action intro, GonzoLeaper. It's a shame that they never made Baby Skeeter, Baby Animal, or even Nanny in puppet form. Yet I do recall seeing a calendar somewhere that has a puppet Baby Skeeter.
I gotcha. Sort of like how in one interview Jim Cummings said he's been voicing Winnie-the-Pooh since 1987 and has voiced Tigger for about the same amount of time when in reality, Paul Winchell voiced Tigger in the first two seasons of "New Adventures" except for one episode, so it's still a...
Yeah. Now that I saw Monday's ep, I'd have to say Telly was freaking out about the number 15's feelings as well. Seems like Telly has gotten especially neurotic this season. Of course he was back in the 80s as well, but he has toned down since then up until now. Lol.
Daffy Duck? Never heard of him. Lol. Only kidding there.
Actually I wasn't too thrilled about Telly describing the chicken's emotions either. I think that took too much time away from the plot. I also thought there could have been more to the street scene other than Telly getting all these...
Is this episode available online anywhere? I missed it when it was on so if I can find it online that would be better than waiting for a repeat of that episode.
Well, said Snowth, you really summed up everything in a nutshell and that's presumably the most likely reason for using an alternate Kermit on America's Got Talent a few years back. Puppeteers can't be around forever or available all the time. Sometimes it's best to accept the things. I know...
That would be neat, but I notice Eric is still available to perform Bert and Grover on SS, so if this news were true a new Muppet project probably wouldn't feature Fozzie, Piggy or Animal or if it did than they would need to be recast. I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.
Yes. I know Kevin's still alive. But I've noticed we've lost quite a few puppeteers for various other reasons as well. Plus I recall Jerry had stopped performing his TMS characters a few years before his death.
So by then, for Fran and Steve, it's "go bye bye!" :halo:
Well as I mentioned in an earlier thread, Carroll has been quoted as stating that he would perform BB until he can no longer hold up the head, so I really think whenever it happens, we'd see it coming. So far I don't see any signs of...
Well, thanks for that info Snowth and Muppetfan. So I'm guessing it will be Billy doing Ernie in next Friday's ep. That's sad, but it's understandable. I'm sure we'll still hear Steve as :):shifty::eek:and:boo:. I guess we have to accept the fact that with a long-running show like "Sesame...
I didn't know she was retiring but that does 'splain why we haven't seen much of Zoe lately or Prairie even. I don't know if they'll be recast or if they'll be retired altogether. :):o:concern:: Or if they'll be retired.
I think they'll definitely keep Zoe since she's always prominent in...
I agree I notice this season Ryan is pretty much spot-on with Elmo compared to the few times we saw Ryan's Elmo last season last season when he was a bit weak with the voice. Recall, how Steve Whitmire struggled the first time he performed Kermit and now he's really got the voice and...
I agree. I still see no reason why they can't replay the classic sketches back when Jim played Ernie. Sure they may be outdated, but replaying those have been part of the show even after they changed the format. If they're hesitant about going that far back, then maybe they should introduce...
