Nice new ETM. I hope they make more next season; if they make them with the segment's shortened runtime in mind, it works just fine, unlike the edited ones they've been playing. And I noticed the street story wasn't trimmed all that much; it flowed very nicely still.

I don't know if that's trustworthy, as a part of the HBO deal was five seasons of SS, plus the spin-off, and a third show unrelated to the "Sesame" franchise.

There wouldn't be as many repeats if HBO didn't ask for more shows.

That's precisely how they're done, though. The writers write lyrics into the scripts and them the music director "farms" it out (his exact terminology) to someone in his team of composers to set it to music.

At the end, his singing was done by Tyler Bunch instead. Not sure why; I'm guessing they needed to re-do his vocals but by then, Joey had resigned. And TEC has been running on HBO Family since the new season of SS began; it's just in the afternoon.

I think one of my issues of the season so far is that they introduced all the set changes and haven't really taken advantage of them (unless the episodes were written in advance of the redesign, or knowledge of it). Widescreen and high definition aren't necessarily the same thing. The issue you have seems to be the compression of a high quality image to a lower quality format. That could happen with literally anything, regardless of aspect ratio.

I would say it started moreso in season 44; the season 43 ones serendipitously matched the episode order by season and chronologically.

I find it quite humorous that they built Abby up so much for her debut year and only used her in a mere three episodes (one of which was just a glorified cameo). It wasn't until the season after that they promoted her up, and even so, she was most in inserts.

Not really much a plot to this one, but it was nice to see more Muppets on the street than previous episodes. It's great that characters like Prairie, Snuffy(!) and Big Bird got their own songs, but it's too bad Bert and Ernie were just silent cameos. Nice job recasting a staple of the show you...

He launched his own website, but it never had its own video player; the content had to be put somewhere (especially where they could get revenue). When Blip.tv went south, YT seemed to be the only other option.

Actually, #3917 was the first to do that.
