It's allllllllllllll about Muppet Magazine, 1982-1989.
*wishes thered be another Muppet magazine someday*
I dunno, Im 29, but I find some of these kids magazines like Nickelodeon or Disney pretty entertaining, if anything colorful with nifty comics. I think they realize kids are way...
well I am very much against smoking, I think its just another Orwellian tool by the corporations to enslave humanity...
but "The Truth" about "TheTruth.com" is that the very "big tobacco" they rally against actually are the ones paying for these slick propaganda tools.
and what is the...
The full hour long Puppet Up Uncensored is finally online
(broken into 6 parts)

Absolutely amazing stuff, glad I finally got to see it. Im not sure theres been anything that edgy in Jim Henson land since the Jim Henson Hour, tho nothing that...
Right on! Again, for anyone who remembers the Fisher Price 1978 line(which to me still looks darn good) or the 2003 Jack and the Box Muppet Show figure line, that is exactly my dreamline of figures to see someday. Kind of like if the Palisades minis were posable. In this scenario, you could have...
This looks actually pretty awesome. I've actually been a fan of when Muppets are occationally animated(Little Muppet Monsters, Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock, etc) Whats that Koala claymation show? I like that one. At first I thought the post on Muppet news flash was about new Sesame action...
Hey, if the Muppet Movie taught us anything, it's that it's GOOD to be a dreamer:) Besides, I think A LOT of us have or currently feel like Gonzo from Muppet Babies. Some guys(Kermit) have all the luck, some of us(Gonzo) have none. But yeah, people shouldnt just go into convenience, but should...
One could say...if she was really your friend, wouldnt she understand these feelings? And have some time to mull over them? Perhaps she feels similarly?
I've actually done all of these things and more over the years here and there with female friends I developed feelings for...it was always...
Those cheap wastes of plastic that still cost a dollar? Yeah...
No seriously tho, if you go to the Disney store they have a lot of really cool figures based on all sorts of classic and current properties. I see no reason why they can't give the Muppets that sort of treatment.
If you saw...
Hear hear! I agree. It's all just a control mechanism for the Orwellian machine of the corporate mass media and government to keep us all enslaved...jump? How high sir? Uh uh. I will stand with you in your resistance!
...
ack...but then I will be all confuzzled by me being with the wrong...
It's a strange but reassuring feeling to know that your special meant-for-you sweetie is not only out there, but probably wondering where you are at as well. That's how I feel about myself. I can almost feel her out there, somewhere in the ether...wondering where I am. Perhaps she is curled up...
I guess I'm the only one who wants 3.5-4" figures by say, Playmates or someone. I actually am not much into the "Mcfarlane detail" that virtually every company uses.
Now that Palisades is no more, who will be releasing Muppet action figures?
Personally, I would LOVE to see a 3.5"-4" Muppet figure line, similair to the 1978 Fisher Price line: http://www.muppetcentral.com/collectibles/muppetpics/toy_figure_fpstickpup.jpg
or the 2003 Jack in the Box...
I wish this was being done with puppets(personally), as the cgi looks...well I guess cgi over at JHC hasnt changed much since 1989 for some reason.
Is it me or does the cgi look way over a decade old or older?
Wishbone's "in your face" attitude screams 1998, but I dig the mokey like...
If it's well written and has full support, it definately is a brilliant tactical move
towards creating interest in a full new Muppet show. Good to see that the Muppets havent been relegated to merch/nostalgia only, and people behind the scenes are working hard to wait for the right time to...
Yeah, Muppetfest was unfortunately a one time deal.
As for if there will ever be a similair event or something of equal stature in the near future, I guess anything's possible.
There's no rumor here. A 15-20 minute "presentation" pilot recently wrapped a little over a week/week and a half ago. I was told not to spill the beans early, but I guess people found out. Hey, which is good, we all need hope eh?
From what I hear, this may not be an actual series, but a mini...
Both JHC and Muppet Studios, and nothing to do with Puppet Cafe or the FR movie(which sadly might not come out til 2009)
Well this thread isnt about that, but I would find merely a Muppet convention kind of boring, wouldnt you?
