THANK YOU! I was wondering why there was a blackout on the SDCC JHC news. So yay.
I remember the old Skrumps figures, cant wait to see the new ones. I still think it should be puppetry, but thats just me. Tho, I still dig Waldo.
Sad there was no Dark Crystal 2 news as its spose to be out...
So where's the San Diego Comic Con News?
I heard Jim Henson Company was spose to have all sorts of big Muppet/Fraggle/Dark Crystal 2/Puppet Up/etc news and stuff to announce and showcase at San Diego comic con this weekend...anyone know what went down?
I should stress that this is a Rated R show, definately may be inappropriate for some viewers/families. My mom and I thought it was hillarious too.
I'm sad Statler and Waldorf From the Balcony is no more, but Puppet Up makes up for it
Yes...if the hype and demand is big enough, this *COULD* lead to a really big
JHC/Disney/SW "Muppet" celebration event somewhere, that could accompany more than 200 people^^
I am extremely, extremely happy something like this is being put together. For so long JHC events erased all...
Not to mention they say "not the cartoons that came after"...well aside from Muppet Babies, the Muppets werent known for being in cartoons.
I found about 15 red flags that pretty much prove this is a FAKE rumor. SHAME on you TV Guide.
I'm wondering the *same* thing. 1999-2000 was like the best Blue House era for merchandise and stuff, and to me Bear will always be one of the main Muppet signature franchises.
Well the issue at the store clearly says "August 2007" in several places on it, and zilcho Muppets to be found.
Did the magazine get smaller? Or am I thinking of Nickelodeon magazine? hmmm
On the front page of the Muppet Newsflash, it says this is a huge event...does this mean its huge for such things to be happening(I agree!) or that the event will be huge...because I heard it's only 200 seats. Why is it only 200 seats? I have no idea.
Whoah, it's like a Muppetfestish event. This is freaking RAD.
I hope everyone who lives within a few hundred miles or more who wants to go can make it!
Eeep, that place must have been tiny!
I went to the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco briefly on Thursday: sold out. Then went back the next day around 1pmish on Friday, and was sold out:(
If theres any pix/brief cellphone movie clips or anything it'll be great to see that.
Last I saw a...
Right on. Yeah post all the details^^ Im going to be in San Francisco that night, but going to a concert with friends I cant get out of.
I think May 2003 when Carol Spinney came with Oscar to a book store was the last time there was a Muppety presence in norcal.
Excellent. Unfortunately I cant make Thursday, but Friday will definately be doable. Will both nights be the same program, or do you think Friday will be part 2? Im hoping they have the best stuff for Friday^^
Count, I had no idea you were using a text to speech program, I thought maybe someone was reading to you the text. Your vast knowlege of all things Sesame and Muppets remains as extensive as ever, as I had totally forgot who played who in the infamous Muppet Babies Star Wars spoofs.
Well...
I won't be able to attend the Thursday June 21st one in San Francisco, so Im hoping Goelz will at least be at the Friday June 22nd one(Gonzo in tow or not)
Im guessing more people would be able to attend the Friday night one.
Palisades figures to me were wayyyy too big. I had to sell most of mine.
Hey it was great what we got out of Palisades for 3 years of Muppet figures(and 1 fraggle and a bunch of sesame that never came out)
but just IMAGINE Muppet figures in this old school scale, not only would they not...
Yeah, but fortunately for 3.5-4" figure lovers like myself, they will be back to the Fisher Price 1978 toy line/muppet mini size which Ive always maintained is the size Muppet figures should be.
HOPEFULLY this will be the beginning of Disney Muppet figures proper in that scale:)
But yes...
Hey, welcome aboard Muppet Central!
Out of curiosity, have you ever seen Sesame Street figures/figurines/pvcs in Japan?
Back in 2002 someone showed me a sony wonder sesame Japanese site
that had a ton of really cool and unique Sesame Street merchandise, some of it being really cool...
