I want to see the puppets that they made of these characters before they did the digital stuff:) It looks like they are only using one of Chandler's original characters, which is good...as the new Skrumps look very "muppety":)
What I like is that Raisins character. It's cool to watch a kids...
there can never be another "Muppetfest", I believe Creation Entertainment hoilds the right to that name, and I don't see them doing another Muppety event any time soon.
Thanks, but we all deserve to be happy. I think we've waited long enough for *something* big to come along, and really to get the Muppets back again.
perhaps a little;)
As for Kermit and Piggy, I think(within "Muppet canon", canon being the Muppets real lives when they arent acting) they...
Hey, I was poo pooing the current state of the Muppets too. But I think they at MMH, or Muppet Studios or whatever its called realize they cannot go a 4th year under Disney ownership without something big and exciting. I think they realize banking exclusively on old nostalgic merchandise and...
Let's examine why as of yet, there has not been a new Muppet show since 1996.
There was the 2002 Team Todd produced Fox Muppet show "edgy" prime time show that never happened
There was the America's Next Muppet pitch taped that never aired
There's "Muppets TV" which I hate to say, I...
Yeah, all I can say is that Muppet fan's two big wishes in the whole world(no, not the wish for JHC to buy back the Muppets, sorry) will come to fruition by this Fall.
Actually, I'd say a whole bunch of wishes actually, one's people never even thought of or expected.
How do I know these...
WHOAH!
I saw THESE http://www.splashdowntoys.com/product/index.html in a
magazine a few years back and was all "those totally look like some new Muppet type of deal from the Jim Henson company".
Does this make the Skrumps official Muppet canon, like Fraggle Rock/Bear
in the Big Blue...
Hey, didn't Yoda say with great knowlege comes great responsibilities?
I think by the end of spring a lot of massive bombshell Muppet news is going to be revealed, the kind of news that will leave people quite satisfied and speachless. And that goes for both JHC and Muppet Sudios(Disney)...
Let's just say you won't hear any more whiny complaints or rants from me anymore...some pretty big muppety things are in the works. (some of which has been subtly hinted at, even by the frog himself)
I'm *finally* hearing some very exciting and big Muppet related news on a variety of fronts, so all I can say is 2007 might not be the tumbleweeds and crickets year I had feared by a longshot. So yeah, I think we had just been experience a realllly long calm before the storm.
You know, I've been asking that same question on here for 8 years! :)
The closest we came was what would have been a Pepe plush available at Long John Silvers fast food restaurants, but ultimately it never came.
There's a number of various Pepe action figures tho.
Actually they've been using Joe The Armadillo and a ton of Muppet puppets from all sorts of various pre 2004 buyout Muppet properties.
I think they can pretty much use any puppet they want it seems like.
If this was pre 2004, everyone would be calling Puppet Up a new Muppet show:) To me...
Yipes, a relationship should be 50/50 or close to it...not 70/30, or 80/20.
With that said, for those that want it, I hope you all find your special someone(if ya havent already) in the new year! I know I sure hope I do finally^^
Well yeah, the format SUCKED...noone does that kids in the audience setup, heck the movies UHF and Death To Smoochly, and the show Greg the Bunny made fun of that 60's era stuff.
Bozark was a bit weird, but the DJ's(especially DJ Panda and DJ Koala) and Waffle are some of the best post 1990...
All I gotta say is Waffle the cow-monkey and DJ Koala, two of the coolest
looking new generation Muppets. I never liked Animal Jam but I lovved the puppet designs, and am glad they are using em' for Puppet Up, as well as the Armadillo and Lester Possums. Now if only they brought in a random...
I just have never recalled an end of the year on Muppet Central where was NOTHING planned or even rumored about for the following year.
All I've heard is a few so so merch news, that isn't even newsworthy...yet noone seems to be caring much...
AND noone seems to have even the faintest of...
Oh goodness, multiply that by a hundred for me^^ I have to take it all in good cheer tho...it simply means it wasnt meant to be.
I have no doubt my special "forever girl" is definately out there...perhaps
updating her online journal or playing with her cat or reading a book, wondering where I...
