    The Best Sequels Ever Thread!

I also forgot about Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut. Even though it still has some problems, it is a lot better than the original theatrical version directed by Richard Lester. It better ties together with the prequel, is much less goofy, and corrects a HUGE plot hole later on.

    The Best Sequels Ever Thread!

I find Mad Max 2/The Road Warrior to be a lot better than the first, mainly because the post-apocalypse is explained better, and the action is a lot more intense.

What are the lamest, Dullest, and Worst Non-Muppet segments?

Sorry for the double post and necrobump, but I wanted to share a few more sketches I don't like. Things are just that slow on the weekends, and I'm really bored. The recent sand drawing version of "Sing". Stephanie D'Abruzzo's beautiful singing voice is outstaged by all those loud, distracting...

Your Thoughts: Upcoming Elmo Tickle Hands

Well, this toy could be interpreted as something dirty, like the Potty Time with Elmo book. :p

    Should Puppetry Be a Genre?

Like animation, puppetry is a medium, not a genre.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

If a volume 3 is released, I hope the entire camp saga is included along with it, since part 1 debuted on season 14, and it wouldn't be right to not include the others in the saga. It also wouldn't make sense for SW not to include the famous episode in which Mr. Hooper dies, so I hope they do...

    Most Interesting International Co-Productions?

What's also interesting to me is Svenska Sesam (Sweden's version). It's the only co-production that doesn't have any of its own Muppet characters in the "theatre scenes"; just humans. I wonder if Swedish children still paid attention to the show?

    Your Thoughts: Elmo Saves Christmas

I'd say it's the second best SS Christmas special (after Christmas Eve, of course), mainly because of what Drtooth said. It shows the Elmo I know and love: a furry red monster with a wide range of emotions and a deep personality, not just there to be annoyingly cute and one-dimensional. What...

    Most Interesting International Co-Productions?

I've seen clips of Sesamstrasse and Sesamstraat, and I think they are two of the best international co-productions. I've been reading up on the various co-productions, and I find it interesting how Sesamstraat had a preschool built in the '80s in an attempt to get kids involved in the show and...

Your Favorite SST Muppet Design Through the Years

Big Bird MF: I like the designs used since 1975, since they're the ones I'm used to seeing. LF: The 1st design. He just doesn't look right with lots of feathers on his head. Snuffy MF: The two Muppets used after that, which really makes him look more realistic. LF: The 1st design, thanks to...
