    Happy birthday, Sesame Street

Happy birthday, Sesame Street! You've been through several rough times over the years, but still manage to be one of the best children's shows on TV! :wisdom: :insatiable: :batty:

"Grover Serves a Burger" - ahead of it's time?

Haven't you ever heard of White Castle's Slyders? They've been around since the chain started in 1921. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Castle_(restaurant)

    Not to mention his COPD.

    New Ebay Puppet "ralph"

He looks a bit like Mahna Mahna, Animal, or Bip Bipadotta! Is he related to either of them? :)

Wow! What a twisted episode of Family Guy!

The Russian cutaway gag is a reference to the film Hedgehog in the Fog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRsXU4Q6a0Q It also seems to use a bit of a Worker and Parasite influence, too, with its cheap animation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIZ4nAprSSE

    International skits on Youtube...

Meh, I don't like all the CGI. It looks too jarring compared to everything else.

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Shout! Factory probably would've been a better choice.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

But when girls go through puberty, their voices don't change as drastically as boys, so that's why they are used more often to voice boys in cartoons as well as girls.

    Skeksis on South Park

In the episode "Tsst", a Skeksis nanny appears in a Nanny 911 intro parody, but the name is spelled "Skexis", possibly due to copyright issues.

    Retro Commercials--What's the Attraction?

You Canucks may remember this one, but you probably weren't aware that there was a full version, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AuLkMBAFZg

People You Wish Were Guests on the Street

After seeing this sketch, a Tiny Tim musical appearance would've been awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0Uep91Gle8

    International skits on Youtube...

I don't know if anyone else posted this, but here's "Amigo" from Plaza Sesamo, which is now called "My Friend". It's the opposite now! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_wrJh06OHc

    Sesamestreet.org relaunches for Season 39

They even added the song "At the Coastline" about a week back, complete with slates! I always find it interesting when SW uploads "raw" clips on their site.

    Who Misses Oreo Os?

Not to mention it's a ripoff of the discontinued (since 2003, but brought back for a short time last year) Hydrox, which I heard is much better (I've never had it before).

Are there different edits/versions of Sid the Science Kid?

PBS is commercial-free, yet stuff still gets edited out? Weird.

What are the lamest, Dullest, and Worst Non-Muppet segments?

I'd say the best ones are this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoFP6AvNWic and this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYhOLnNlAbk I have to admit, the last one was pretty effective at making me crave fruit, even as a kid! I agree that they are all pretty dull, except for "Doggone Jealous Blues".

People You Wish Were Guests on the Street

I would have liked to see Jimmy Durante in a sketch with Herry.
