Hey, Sorry for the cunfusion. I am looking to buy a teddy Mona, or a character like it. my Girlfriend has a Harvey Monster teddy and IO want to get a mona to go with it, or something like that.
Being that the original poster is from Ireland, he may be referring to a character from their version of Sesame - to most of us "Mona Monster" is a super-obscure monster who was only in a handful of sketches in the 80's as Telly's sister. The same puppet was later recycled as the much better known Ingrid (as in Humphrey, Ingrid, and Natasha). So if ajs2 could provide any screencaps, pictures or links to the character he's referring to, it may help clear up confusion.
Hmm...There isn't a Mona in the Irish version of Sesame Street -- Just Potto (monster) and then the Hare and the Bird.
Is there a toy version of Telly Monster? He's probably the only "monster" there's likely to be a plush or something of. (Well...Elmo...And Cookie...Oh, nevermind...)
I've got an old Telly plush from the 80s made by Applause (I think)... you can tell I've had him forever, his eyes have no pupils anymore... he looks dead, lol.
Off topic, I've been to the new Sesame Tree website, and I like the looks of the show.
