    American Idol

Poor Vanessa. I really liked her. Of course she's the most Cyndi-esque of the contestants. ;) Of all the people, she had the most spark and I think she'll have the best chance to do something after the program. :flirt:

    American Idol

I watch 24 too, but Idol really isn't pre-empting the program. Because there are only 24 shows, Fox wants to space them out and not confuse the audience with mid season reruns. If it wasn't Idol it would be something else. I understand the frustration but I feel it is misplaced. I'm not much...

Oscar is the regurgitating mondter. He has stress/puke marks under his mouth. They are a yellowish green pukey color.

    Loose Animal and Beaker wanted!

Wanting Animal in his traditional outfilt led me to believe he was a serious collector. Problems are really not that hard to solve. Heck, you could find a friend in the US to buy and ship the playsets or get them off of Ebay.

    American Idol

Geez, everybody was good last night. This isn't like last year! I most liked Kimberly Caldwell and Trenyce, but my fave is Vanessa. She has more personality than the others. I think Clay was technically the best singer, but I agree with Simon - he's has much more of a theatrical voice. That's...

    Loose Animal and Beaker wanted!

Rob White I just don't see how anyone would part with the figure and keep the set. Many people bought the playsets to get these figures in the first place. Tour Animal is really your best bet. I doubt they will ever make this classic version except in Mega form (13 inches). The sets are...

    Henson.com under construction

Heck, I'd do it for free. But, shhhhhhhhh. Don't tell them that. I could probably clean up their site and update it in an afternoon. I've worked tigher deadlines before.

    Repaint Limit

I'm certainly not complaining. This thread was was started to note a change in EB's policy for exclusives. Die-hard fans should be aware. I'm not sure how long you've been around this forum, but I'm one of the biggest supporters of the action figures and the variants. I think you missed the...

    Walt Disney AND Jim Henson

I have to admit to watching Are You Hot. It's so funny to see a gogeous person cry because they weren't "hot enough." LOL! Well I thought they were hot until they turned on the water works. The "Why are they judging how I look?" statments are funny too. I also watch Idol, but that really is more...

Okay, who is your favorite famous bear? :o A Fozzie Bear B Bear (from the Big Blue House) C Winnie the Pooh D Bobo (from Muppets Tonight) E Baby Bear (from Sesame Street) F Yogi Bear G Paddington Bear H Baloo (from the Jungle Book) I Gummi Bears (any of the characters from Disney's...

    the big kermit question....

That's what gave the Christmas special such a magical feel to me - the scenes with Kermit and Fozzie. Classic. :):o

    Walt Disney AND Jim Henson

My Views on ABC TV ABC needs to deviate from the reality TV line-up : The Family, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, I'm a (pseudo) Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Are You Hot, All American Girl and the longtime - America's (un)Funniest Home Videos. Yes, there are that many - probably more...

Is MUPPET an insult in the US?

I've heard that as a comment toward someone walking funny or with funky-colored or fluffy hair, but not as an insult of personality. I think someone's pulling your leg. Wait, Muppets don't have legs! Just kiddin! ;) :D

    the big kermit question....

I would have to go with the Muppet Show. I enjoyed SS, but watched the Muppet Show much more - even as a young kid. I'd get upset if Kermit wasn't on every ep of SS. LOL! I don't know why anyone wouldn't like TMS, but to each their own opinion. I think it was one of the best shows on TV...

Disney in talks to buy Muppets

That's my point too. Who would be better than Disney? Who wants them besides Disney? Who will be able to promote them and fund projects for them? Who will keep the Muppets in the public eye and on store shelves? Until the WB stores closed I wanted them to own Henson. Do you think they would have...

were there any muppets who cursed?

Language has always been an issue with me but I tone it down around here. It's always best to be mindful of the type of audience or group you are speaking to. I had a boss once who swore all the time. Cool lady, but it turned me off and made me aware of my own behavior. I don't mind language...

    1,000,000 Visitors

Wow! It's happened already. We were at around 700,000 last fall and a few months later we're already at a million! Woah! We're growin! It's cool I played a small part in that - but you know, all of us here play an important role at Muppet Cenrtal. So - congradulations everybody! :) ;) :flirt...

Disney in talks to buy Muppets

Re: For Froggie Jamie It would have had the same eventual outcome. Jim would have eventually passed and the Muppets would be under Disney ownership. It just would have meant projects like Farscape and others would be under Disney. :concern:
