    Meet the Muppet Central Staff

Sorry it took me so long to reply, Nate. I had to put my teeth back in. :p You booger. I'm not old yet!

    2 Waves Of Muppet Fans

It's more of a generational gap than a strict classification. Kids born in the 70s are wave 1, early-mid 80s are wave 2 and beyond that are wave 3ers. It's not really a judgement. It basically just shows how we look at the Muppets. If you grew up on Steve's Kermit, you would have a much...

    Meet the Muppet Central Staff

Hey, you wish Scooter had my spikey hair. LOL! ;) BTW, why would I be balding? :concern: Total weirdness. :p

    New Muppet Smilies

Thanx. I have to admit that the smileys wouldn't look all that hot at a larger scale. They are aliased, created pixel-by-pixel to keep them sharp. :( They are actually about 5% larger than the average old smiley. :D

    Just out of interest

I've got one! :concern: My brother broke my Animal mug as a kid. :halo: But I still have the Gonzo. PS- these are ceramic figural head mugs. They were made for Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo and there are rare Animal and Dr Teeth mugs too. Mini eggcups were made of Statler, Waldorf, Sam...

    Now Google.com Hates Disney

That argument was made about the Lion King during its initial release, but it didn't gain much momentum. It's usually just people with too much time on their hands. The hyenas were supposed to poke fun at Hispanics and black street gangs. I don't really see how the film made fun of their...

    Meet the Muppet Central Staff

Contrary to popular belief, Muppet Central is not run by a gang of monkey writers. Get to know the staff members on our staff page that can be accessed by the link at the bottom of every page or in our help section. Put a face to some of the names you've been seeing around here. ;)

    2 Waves Of Muppet Fans

Wave one all the way. I actually enjoyed The Muppet Show much more than Sesame Street as a young kid (though I enjoyed both shows). That could explain my poor spelling. :p It's strange to me to see all these wave 2 and 3ers so passionate about the Muppets. They are usually much better about...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

With the rats, I would love to see some sort or 2 or 3 pack regular-sized rat set with their kitchen supplies from Manhattan. If they can make an MTI Gonzo/Rizzo set, (as was discussed earlier in the thread) then surely they can make one figure pack with some kitchen rats. I was just thinking...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Actually, with the penguins it would be the license. :zany: But articulated figures are more expensive to make than accessories. That has been said since day one a year and a half ago. The approval process is grueling, but I doubt that would be the issue with the Muppet penguin unless they were...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

LOL. It's funny that the miscalculation would have left 2 spots instead of one so that way you could have had your rats and penguins. :zany: I don't really think extra rats or a headmaster Sam would be Christmassy enough for the set, but there's always room for more penguins. I actually hope...
