I enjoyed this book as a kid, so hopefully the movie wouldn't be screwed up too bad.
Also, since there are 24 hours in a day, compressing it to 1.5 hours shouldn't be too much of an issue.
I'm sorry, but I'm really tired of this kind of "This year sucks because another celebrity has died!" attitude. I ranted about this in the "Am I the only one" thread, so I'm sparing everyone of the same here.
Amazingly, one guy is actually giving a proper remastering of the OT that even includes changes to correct technical and continuity problems, as well as to make it fall more in line with the prequels (which will be almost entirely unrecognizable themselves). He's also producing "purist" versions...
I really enjoy the deep and detailed universe of the show, as well as how dark and disturbing the show can get at times. I also find the rubbery style of the animation to be sort of a nice throwback to the stuff from the 1930s. Plus, I'm very glad to see that has a strong following even among...
Has John K. ever used Flash? If he did, I'm sure he wouldn't stoop to those shortcuts as he prefers that every frame of animation be drawn differently.

I'm really impressed with what the team did with the 2D animation of The Amazing World of Gumball, especially in the...

There were a few other posts about this by the same guy, too.
Oh, you know that My Bedbugs show someone mentioned several pages back? Well, I recently discovered that The Oogieloves is just that with the serial numbers filed off.
It turns out the creators (who are a husband and wife) conceived it as a way to teach their kids about hygiene and the...
What's also crazy is that Viselman wants to make sequels, even after the pathetic box office returns! Hopefully he'll wise up and let them rot in direct-to-video Hades as he should have done with the first movie.
Like you said before, most of the budget must have also went to bribing theaters...
Already Elmo: The Musical is a lot more fun and interesting than EW because Elmo actually steps outside his little imaginary apartment and interacts with other living beings, and sings actual songs instead of b*****dizing the tune of "Jingle Bells". Loved the song with Elmo and the Yip-Yips...
