Let's not jump to conclusions now. It must have been a really young kid, like Drtooth said. In fact, my brother used to think Diddy Kong was Curious George, and he was about 5 or 6 at that time! :D
The songs are really good in the Swedish dub, especially the use of an accompanying choir in "Bein' Green".
I also find it odd that some parts are kept in English but translated into Swedish, such as the film about people in Africa. But I've heard that many Swedish children are taught English...
Though it did get used to hilarious effect in a montage in Malcolm in the Middle where Hal was secretly fattening up Lois as she was trying to lose weight during pregnancy, because he likes her big. :D
