Looks like that Disney's Dinosaur movie knockoff thing (based on a BBC documentary miniseries from almost 15 years ago) only managed to gross about a quarter million of its $80 mil. budget, both domestic and international combined! It was a bad call to release it when Frozen was still making the...
They're probably being influenced by commercials, in the same reason it's considered unmanly to drive anything other than a macho gas-guzzling pickup or SUV. I'm not blaming TV; just the guys allowing themselves to be influenced by them.
I remember when they aired a recent adaptation of Peter and the Wolf that was done in stop-motion and set in contemporary times (at least my affiliate did, anyway). I really enjoyed it.
In the UK, The Snowman is safe as well, namely because the network that airs it annually (Channel 4) were the producers, and there would be similar outrage if they were to stop.
I loved when Jon's grandma hijacked the piano to play her rendition of "O Christmas Tree". :)
Hey, it could be worse. At least it's not Johnny Test or The Annoying Orange; two shows nobody likes, but CN loves to shove down people's throats.

What about the Dexter's Lab episode in which Dexter is dumber than usual and shoots down Santa, thinking that it's really his dad in disguise despite flying around in a magic sleigh with real reindeer? And Santa talks like a Pokémon throughout most of the episode? And the family-unfriendly Aesop...
I do like RP more for Twister and Sam, as well as the side characters. Plus, I liked how in the later episodes, Sam slowly grows into a more competent athlete.
I'm really liking Remington Tufflips even more now that I've seen the episode in which the titular duo chase after him, thinking that he's the recently-disposed-of arcade game that is shaped just like him that they play regularly (this makes a lot more sense in context).
They must have been watching too many of the cheapquels. God, remember when those never seemed to end?
Especially considering how PG seems to be the new G nowadays.
Man, what a dumb list. "OMG SOMONE DIES IT MITE B BAD 4 KIDZ!11!!!" "OMG ITS PEEGEE SO IT MUST B 4 t3h KIDDEHZ!!!1!!11!"
Gimme a break. I may have been scared by some of these movies, but never traumatized! Plus, it's not like kids don't experience loss or peril in real life. :rolleyes...
