Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Star Wars is one example. The space operas and westerns that it drew inspiration from have been using many tropes that have been done before, but here they were used in such a way that it made them feel fresh and new. Same goes for Indiana Jones.
I've just watched the first episode of SheZow, and the animation is pretty good. Not Titmouse (Motorcity) or Augenblick (season 1 of Superjail!) or even Fresh TV (Grojband) good, but certainly far above others. A good variety of character perspectives are used, and particle effects like smoke...
Yeah, I remember hearing about that disaster. All we need are the rest of the loopholes closed so that stations can no longer use the requirements as an excuse to keep their license.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was given the E/I label in its 1st season, but it was phased out after that. However, the various characters still write about what they've learned at the end of each episode.
Too many sequels? They've made four with a fifth in the works, and were released several years apart from each other. That's hardly what I'd consider sequel crazy.
I know that Narm and The Scrappy are grandfathered, seeing as they came about before the unwritten rule on trope names was set into stone. Flanderization will most likely be safe, as well.
Giant tree puppets have never gelled with me ever since seeing The Wizard of Oz. :eek:
Also, I feel that those Stub Hub commercials are a little self-aware in how disturbing they are.
