I posted a response from Karen Falk a while back, she's the JHC Archivist:
Letters to performers can always be directed to JHC's Fan Mail addresses. I'm sure we'll be notified of any changes when things change.
SS performers must be directed to SS though, not to JHC.
They'd have to buy Warner Brothers in order to do that, and I think Time/Life and AOL have something to do with ownership of WB.
I heard they had a contract on the town where you live, including all it's citizens. I'd move if I were you, before Disney candy-coats ya. ;)
Well, if they bought the entire Muppet library, I would think Disney owns Sam and Friends, too. After all, that's where Kermit got his start, and some of the characters from that also appeared on Ed Sullivan and more...
Well, I just meant move down to Memphis...
But, since you're my pal, you can room here. We'll have to find you a job first though...
Let's see...
Garbage men, dental assistance...
OH! Here's one:
Guard dog! :sympathy:
Watch it! I really liked it!! I won't be buying it, but it's definitely worth seeing at least once!
It's very funny, very twisted (the ending is more twisted), and makes you appreciate people for who they are instead of what they could become.
It's a light-hearted dark comedy with some...
Well, at least it ain't the original car that was after us, so maybe this one won't be so dangerous!
*Sighs in relief after the caffeine has left his system*
Oh, but who's in THAT car, then? Warner Brothers??
I think the stock holders already all voted to have Eisner step down, didn't they? That's what I remembered them doing. He's still on the board, just not in the same position.
You know, a Fraggle movie would have been the perfect way to end the series. Wonder why not? Anyhow, I just remembered a letter I got from Steve Whitmire several years ago who said that they had all done Fraggle Rock and while they loved doing those characters they were ready to move on to...
Hey, gang! I'm at the movie theater right now and am about to go in and see this film. I love a theater with an internet cafe in it! Anyhoo...if I don't post what I think about the movie today, I'll do it monday when I'm at work...on hold...waiting for someone to talk to me from the other end...
Muley shouted "YEEEEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAA!" When he got by it, but they didn't let him jump the car over a creek like in the show.
I've always wanted to own (but never will be able to afford it): The Blues Mobile, Ecto-1, EM Bus, or the Ford Woodie they go to California in TMM.
Nah, I'm just being silly. Nothing like that goes on around my apartment.
Now, the Apartment downstairs is a different story...
Hey, BuckBeaver! Congratulations on getting Bear Town in "The Puppetry Journal!" If you don't get it and want me to email a copy, I have a scanner!! Lemme know. :)
Happy Birthday, Morgan!!
He's a cool guy who lives about 13 miles away from a friend's homestead, and owns a blues club!! I've heard that he's very polite, very approachable, and even does his own grocery shopping at the local markets.
Barry! Awesome work! Did you do those paintings, too?? It's cool to finally see work associated with what we were discussing in that other thread about your artistry.
Wanna discuss parallels in our lives? When I was 7 I created Muley; by 1988 (and age 16) I had re-created every single...
In the extended version of the Fraggle Rock theme song on the 2 record album set several years ago, there was an extra bit of instrumental that sounded a bit like some of the end-theme was blended in, but also this "Roll down a hole" part reminds me of that, as well. Connections, ya think?
Right, guys. To US they're still "Muppets," and always will be. But, Disney owns that name now, so I'm interested to know that after the legalities, etc., what they will be called.
