I'm glad they're doing it. Sales weren't so hot in retail, and they had the option of selling it directly from their site or not at all, and I want Mini Muppets, so this was a way to save the line and keep me appeased!

I heard that the film was hard for everyone to work on, and that Frank even left the set a couple of times because he just couldn't deal...but that, too, was from the radio stations.

Disney owns all things Muppets, except Bear in the Big Blue House and Fraggle Rock, which is still owned by JHC. Sesame Workshop still owns the Sesame Street Muppets.

When it gets to a point that you aren't sure if you can hang, I'd say you'd likely need to get someone else in there to begin mentoring into those roles, y'know? All that plus the stress of working under a new company (Disney) must be problematic for the performers as well.
