I wrote to JHC and asked about what we call the characters. Obviously, there aren't any particular names outside of what they are, but they aren't called "Muppets" anymore. :(
Fraggle Rock Characters are just that. "Fraggles," "Gorgs," and "Doozers."
Sesame Street characters are called...
They are definitely a grab-and-run commodity. I just can't understand why it's so hard to capture the likenesses of puppets as dolls. I mean, aren't there some kind of pattern to the puppet which can be simplified and turned into a doll pattern? Anyhoo, if the vets set is as cheap as $5 I'll...
YES! I want once to perform the voice of the plant, and once to perform the puppetry.
I also still have to play Scarecrow and Lion in Wizard of Oz.
Then, Charlie Brown and finally Snoopy. I'll have been everybody I want to play by then.
Only a few do, but usually they're all only for house actors. I meant more along the lines of making puppets. I'm not nearly smart enough to remember a whole show anymore like I used to be.

NATE!!!! :)
Yeah, I read that somewhere (prolly TP). But, I'm disappointed that it's not going on the road. It'd have been great to see that at the Orpheum. Especially since I won't ever get to visit those other places.
By their own posting in the first post in this thread:
They made a promise that it would ahve the same level of detail, articulation, and quality, but also said it'd be more stylized than Palisades' Muppets. They're sticking to that with their design, but I think they could have done...
I like these ideas. Kermit could have different expressions for the head changes, we know what 3 for Beaker (half, lit up eyes, mouth closed), and for the basket biz it could have Kermit's legs sculpted on one side so we could stand Kermit in the basket and make it appear he's sitting. Like...
Yessir.
Several hours have passed and the Muppets are all rested and normal...well, about as normal as they can get. They approach a little town and are hungry, so they visit a local diner (much to the gratitude of Rizzo and Garfield), and then decide to break from travelling for an hour to...
