Not to mention Clarence also had a flashback of him trick or treating with a feather boa around his neck and an old woman saying "Are you supposed to be Miss Piggy?" Seemed like a good night for Miss Piggy Halloween episode references.
Also, the latest Robot Chicken had a Dinosaur Train skit...
Nice to know that with Halloween upcoming, they freed up one episode of Clarence. While I would think his refusal to Trick or Treat is weirdly out of character, his odd phobia of cheap, novelty Halloween decorations with those obnoxious cheap soundboxes is a perfect rationale for it. Some...
I'm more insulted that they thought Rio was their prestegue picture. Sure, it was well researched, but maybe I didn't see it in theaters, but rather the Disney Channel when I wasn't in a good mood, but I felt that film was incredibly overrated. As in not that good. I actually liked Cloudy...
If there's one thing that was sorely missing from the show, it was a scene like that. They proved they can get a musical number into the series, an original one at that. I want to see more of that in the future. I especially like how it was Piggy's crowning moment of awesome. The theme of...
Did you somehow tune out when she realized how stupid her actions were? I didn't care much for the set up myself (never liked her doing that on TMS), but that payoff was mind blowing.
Eh... his complaint was that it would have cost the amount of money to do actual charity work. Don't see why...
I have a feeling the movie already made back most of its budget on advance ticket sales alone. It already broke records... and websites!
Now I'm kinda afraid to go see this thing only to have any showings already sold out. I'm kinda worried I might have to wait a week to see this one at least.
You know, I wasn't going to take much stock in this episode because I never liked the Piggy feud with celebrity stuff. Not even in the original show, especially in the original show (though, to be fair they did do it pretty good with Annie Sue). And while they did give her a nice reason to be...
When it comes to those little pilots, you can really tell which ones wouldn't have worked as a full series. Major Flake being an obvious one. Now, I really did like that cartoon short, but I don't see it being anything to keep the premise of a TV show. I could see it sort of as an anthology...
Don't forget to check out the supplemental materials for the new episode. There's some great Old Man McGucket puppet stuff like this little skit.
Nice reference to UHF in there.
As far as I'd go, the ideal line up is getting the heck rid of KOTH or at least cut it back to a half hour, giving the 9:30 slot to Bob, then having Cleveland and AD share an hour, and leaving the rest as is. Beyond that, it would be nice to have a rotating daily slot featuring different shows...
Hmmmmmm... Maybe yes, maybe no. It's hard to tell, but there are similarities. The animation sort of matches up and then it doesn't then it sort of does. I need to give a deeper side by side to really make a yes or no judgement.
So...uh... without any fanfare or warning, [AS] lost the 8 PM hour, giving it back to CN originals. This week, Regular Show Halloween specials and Over the Garden wall will be rebroadcast with a new RS Halloween special Thursday. Next week, a full week of new Adventure Time shows...
Out of all the criticisms, that's one of the ones I do have with this show. I know the show's supposed to focus on Kermit and Piggy specifically, but I'm looking for a little more depth from the pig since, well, she needs it. The first episode at least gave her a backstory for hating on a...
Indeed. Giving the characters minor tweaks (well...except for Knuckles who got a MAJOR one) for comedic effect is much more effective than five Peter Griffins. Not to mention Sticks being an excellent addition to the team. There have always been new Sonic characters to add to the franchise...
Role Models was delightfully subversive. Love how Sticks just up and left at the concept of having to be a behavioral example. Not to mention some more great Dr. Eggman stuff. Occasional Grammy Nomination? Hilarious. Really is a shame the games hurt the reputation of the series.
And you...
The Homerzilla one was disappointing. It just turned into a "teh remakes are stupit" rant. I hate to say it, but even that horrid Bart's Nightmare bit had a better Godzilla parody story.
But the John K opening was epic. Nice to see his stuff from time to time. Plus, they had to get...
UGH! I do not want this thing to follow that unwatchable, yet constantly renewed "Last Man Standing." I'm trying not to keep my hopes low yet not aiming too far to disappointment level, but if this can just get a renew to second season, or at least somehow outnumber the episodes of the last TV...
I realized something. The World Record episode of Arthur is a total ripoff of the Hey Arnold episode "World Records." Right down to Arnold and Gerald trying to set a record for backwards walking...and the fact they're trying to cook the world's largest Pizza. Only major difference is that...
The Pig Goat Banana Cricket comic has officially premiered in New Nickelodeon magazine. I skimmed through it, it's short, and while it doesn't have the same round robin storytelling as the show, it did focus on Banana's adventures with something similarly to one of their pieces. The artwork is...
