Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
It does up to a certain point. I know they still have Boy Meets World on there. Gilmore Girls too, which is kinda baffling because it essentially bashes the heck out of small town sentiment (the characters are always complaining about it and trying to leave). But it does indeed show family...
I'm glad they're starting to play with that instead of just keeping moderate levels of hints and excuses. I've been waiting for some passive aggressiveness coming directly from Piggy to Denise. It didn't end up in a fistfight or karate. Piggy carried herself much better in this episode than...
Yeah. That will probably pop up in the comic soon enough, I guess. The whole series is devoted to side stories and filling out concepts, so I'd say they'd get that story in eventually.
Personally, the Family Channel was dead to me when they got rid of Walter Melon.
But then again, Disney did come up with Penn Zero which is a far better usage of the replacement hero idea, so it balanced out eventually.
Seriously. I was super into Walter Melon back in '00.
UGH! Disney can...
Well, here's an unexpected surprise. An online exclusive TMNT special made specifically to tie in to the Half Shell Heroes toy line. It's actually quite good, and I love the animation here. Seems like it's own little Rescue Bots type deal, but only with the same characters as the main series...
I'm afraid that would really cut into the budget somehow. I'm not a huge follower of Star Trek, so I don't know if the original series was actually low budget or that was just the technology that was available at the time. I just don't see them giving an internet series as big a budget as a...
Wow. They wasted no time in pealing away the mystery of how P-Bubs came to be. Kinda takes the mystique out of it, but they had to reveal that sometime.
I have to admit, those things are kinda cute. Don't get the toy line at all, but it does seem to have appeal. I guess there's some sort of semi-rhyming scheme to the name. I'd call them Wobble Puppies or something. I'd say a Chubby Kitties line would have made more sense, but that toy would...
Retrospectively, I didn't so much have a problem with her as much as I did with the whole "only < 12 year old girls matter" Disney thing at the time and how it was affecting animation on television. I don't want to go back into that rabbit hole again, but I never liked that period of Disney...
If there's one thing I really hated in some of the first Post-Jim Muppet projects it's that Kermit was slowly becoming a Stepford Smiler which came to an obnoxious head in MFS where (and the trillionth time I said this) he could have been completely taken out of the movie and it still wouldn't...
While anything can be said for any post-Jim Muppet project, I find this one just a frustrating collection of "what could have beens." And the thing is, if it was a standalone Gaga special, it wouldn't have been too bad (provided your a fan). But the problem with that one is obvious. A...
Personally, I agree to that, but I'm thinking from a business standpoint. I really don't think SW or WB (especially WB) think of collectors market DVD's unless they release Old School compilation sets. I give them all the credit in the world for putting some of the older DVD/VHS footage on...
I really liked when Palmer actually made an effort. This isn't some far in the back rear view memory, they just stopped doing that several years back. Now, Palmer's chocolate is... nothing to be too excited about. It's the least fudgy, chalkiest thing imaginable. But there's something to bad...
I just never got the point of putting B and C list celebrities in the Chipmunks roles as... well... speeding up the voices makes them unrecognizable. And even then, they didn't pull a Dreamworks and list any of the celebrity voice actors on the posters. Kids wouldn't know and care, so why was...
Most of the new comers were those (for lack of a better term) Oscar baity adult type films that don't really get a mainstream following until they're up for an award or hit home video and or cable. And even then, they didn't look interesting. Supposedly "Our Brand is Crisis" was based on a...
The funny thing about this movie is how they pretty much had to reverse engineer what made the Peanuts cartoons simplistic stylistically. Low budget animation recreated in higher quality just...comes out wrong somehow. Kind of like when cartoons put an anime sequence in, but it doesn't really...
They do that with every kind of video you watch. Sometimes for videos you don't watch or even videos you've deleted from your history is an attempt to not get those videos in the first place.
Technically it came out very late 90's to the point of being an 00's cartoon. By that logic, Spongebob should be on the line up as well...especially because Spongebob actually predated RP by 3 months. No kidding. SBSP premiered in May of 1999 while RP was August of that year. I guess the...
I'm more concerned about it getting a second season myself. Seems that even with diminished ratings, it's still a strong performer for their Tuesday Night line up. And I'm sure the budget isn't extremely huge enough to keep the show going for a while on modest ratings.
Still, you wonder...
