    Kermit's "World" tour ends.

Memphis Rocks! Thought it was only appropriate to swipe that slogan for Memphis due to my thoughts on the contest. That Kermit seemed pretty mangled toward the end. I hope the Cleveland people know how to fix Muppets. ;) Maybe they'll just keep serving him and themselves "grasshoppers" until...

    2008 Menu Descriptions

:) Valentine’s Menu  Muppet Central’s classic red Muppet Show arches now shaped like hearts, lower on to the screen. They are adorned with pillars, gold leaf decoration and bulb lights atop the shapes. The center heart reads “Happy Valentine’s Day” in white pseudo-cursive lettering...

Preliminary Thoughts on Master Replica's Fozzie Bear

By the way, Luke. It is my view that Gonzo isn't skipable as a replica. Even with the weird nose thing, he's just so cool! I can't wait for the bear, but my bank account can. :o

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

I don't think a lot of industry people get the popularity of Fraggle Rock. There is definitely - Fraggle momentum. Also, true on the Doozer sticks. And the inclusion of letters kind of sends up a red flag to me that the designers or marketers at MINDstyle don't quite get the Fraggles. HBO...

Preliminary Thoughts on Master Replica's Fozzie Bear

:o It appears they are about to start factory production on Fozzie. I doubt pre-orders will be available until they have a factory sample to photograph. I was amazed that Gonzo got to me so soon after he was ordered. I'm looking at the little guy right now. :concern: His little shoes. I...

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

It does feel mean, but I'm certain the blind box decision is only due to a lack of faith in the Fraggle brand. Many retailers won't stock products unless it's tied to a current popular project. Blind sets and such methods also help bring characters like the Trash Heap into the mix. There are...

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

Basically blind boxing means theoretically you could buy box after box wanting different figures, but keep getting the same one. Personally I'd pay a premium to avoid the hassle. MINDstyle should look into that.

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

I am very happy about the figures but... It has to be said - blind boxing exclusives is one thing, but doing so for the regular lineup is disrespectful of the fans. I admire MINDstyle's stunning work but am not wild about their price points or business practices as relates to customers. This...

    Your Gonzo Replica Pictures

I was among those giving Gonzo fairly stern criticism, however it was based on some really crummy photographs. I honestly don't see how you can get those pictures out of this product. Yeah, having photographic and design skills help, but they really aren't needed with him. He is really...

    Your Gonzo Replica Pictures

Kermit takes some time (and some light smooshing) to warm him up. Gonzo - out of the box - looks amazing. Yeah, there are some tweaks here and there I will make to him (updates will come on that) but...drumroll...Gonzo, while not perfect, is my favorite of the bunch! :concern:

    Master Replicas Gonzo Photo Puppet

I wrote all about my Gonzo in the other Gonzo thread. My poser's mouth wasn't open like that when I got him. Hmmm. Weird. He was so cure in the box. The pre-release product photography on Gonzo is hideous. He actually looks great. Yeah, the fabric is disappointing, but soon forgotten. I...

    Your Gonzo Replica Pictures

The fabric for the nose covering isn't a straight stocking weave. It appears to mimic the foam texture a little bit. The color is great. Very purpley. I am pleased with him. It is a shame that the texture is visibly different but that should not keep people from getting him. All of the...

    Your Gonzo Replica Pictures

Yeah, I'm happy with my Gonzo. There are some micro issues with the foam, paint, stocking seams and tiny pseudo snags, but in all I am pleased. I've met Gonzo and was expecting this to look like his simple cousin, but this is him. Not a perfect him, but a very very good him! I'd almost call him...

    Your Gonzo Replica Pictures

Got em'! Sorry, in a hurry so I'll be brief. First initial feeling was different. I actually squeaked! He looks so cute! I give him a...well, stars are hard. I give Gonzo a B to B+ so far. I haven't had time to tweak him yet. Here are the issues you want to know about: * Visible seams and...

    My Thoughts: Disney's Muppets

Truth be told I saw "Muppets From Space" in the theater with a friend. First I felt nostalgic, then I felt irritated as the plot went nowhere, then I felt bad for my friend who'd come to see this turkey of a film with me, then I actually kinda cried because I felt it was such a terrible blunder...

    Master Replicas Gonzo Photo Puppet

Okay guys, wish me luck in making my Gonzo window today because he should be coming! I'll likely miss his arrival but fingers crossed anyway. He's on a truck in San Francisco! :concern: <---and his cute little bowtie and cute little shoes are too! :o

    Your Thoughts: New Smilies

:search: If you refresh the page a few times the new bowtied Gonzo will probably replace the other one. I felt he needed a good sprucing up. Gonzo deserves the best...little blue guy. :concern:

    Popularity of Fraggle Rock

one theory :excited: I was told by Karen Prell that Fraggle Rock was extremely expensive to make. Until then I hadn't realized that. It's precisely why it hasn't been revived as a television program with new episodes. I agree that its initial pay-cable-only broadcast limited the market of...

    Boober puppet on eBay

I've always wondered about the subtlety of Boober's color too. It always seemed like a green-aqua color to me that sometimes translates to blue in print. Dave Goelz and his characters' color issues. :concern: He he. Boober's green color, Gonzo's nose color, Bunsen's sometimes yellow sometimes...

    Your Thoughts: New Smilies

We're thinking of changing the post icons. The Newsman would make a great fit. ;) I like the diversity of the icons (even though there are many Muppet Show ones). Since people have already used many of the icons mentioned as characters in their posts it wouldn't be right to swap them. I like...
