The foam used for the eyelids appears to be very fragile - likely too fragile for the nose. I see why they had to go another rout. The "sock" is actually more like "netting" that attempts to give a foam-like texture or pattern. It doesn't quite succeed, but I have fallen in love with this Gonzo...
I see it as both sweet and pragmatic and soupy. Soup is good food!
However, last year we had just started dating a month before Valentines so I designed this for him. I've posted it before. He likes Donald Duck. The cellphone snap shot is rather crummy quality, but it's an original hand...
:insatiable: I just don't see why Valentine's is perceived as a dark day. I've been attached and single on this day and rarely celebrate it either way. Never been much of a follower. I do sweet spontaneous things for my partner rather than designated days. This year I got him some candy hearts...
Muppet Central Reviews
:search: There is a self-explanatory page on the topic on the Muppet Central website that explains the easy process better than I could. There's also a place for notes where you could provide links to your photographs.

Actually, that's the authentic Gonzo design. His left (our right) eyelid is a fraction higher than his right one. You will see this in both the posers and especially the actual production puppet. I am glad Master Replicas and Disney retained this particular point of accuracy. :flirt:
A...
Think I reported something about this earlier. Probably in the Alvin thread. I don't remember.
The information (rumors and otherwise) that I have heard lead me to believe that this project is a feature film with CG Smurfs possibly in a realistic medieval world and the story has to do with...
Many films you listed were not big box office money makers. It doesn't mean they weren't good, on the contrary many of them were, but they were still unfortunately considered niche films. Even the larger budgeted ones. Films like Labyrinth are often looked back at with rose-colored glasses when...
You are right about the straight-on pictures. You will note I keep taking side shots until the pupil material arrives for my revision. I am convinced the sort of detailed eye focus needed for Gonzo cannot be manufactured – it must be individually placed by the skilled hand of an artist or puppet...
The nose really isn't bugging me as much as I thought it would. Most of the time it can be overlooked, but sometimes the light catches it in an unflattering way.
Here's a picture I posted in the other thread. A MEETING OF THE GONZOS.
I doubt another Gonzo will be released for many...
My official step-by-step process for linking to Muppets.com XD
Thought I'd officially list the tweaky thing needed to get to the Muppets.com start-up XD page. Does this hold true for everyone?
My quickest method:
1. I log on to www.muppets.com
(it annoyingly takes me to disney.com's main...
Muppet Central (site and forum) gets a lot of visitors, but it's still only a fraction of fans and only a fraction of that actually post on the board. It is an interesting idea, just not likely workable. :sympathy:
I have come to discover that the number listed on replicas means very little...
It's a good beginning with a lot of potential for growth. I do miss Rowlf and Scooter, but it does appear that they're trying to include some classics like Beaker and Swedish Chef! :hungry:
My partner is buying the new Chipmunks on Blu-Ray. I'm hoping for some fun exclusive special features. :) I'll also get to freeze-frame the animation to see how well it was done.
