So, is this Space Jam 2 thing still happening? 'Cause there's been a recent report saying that it's in the writing stages, which I'm still taking with a grain of salt. Or a spoonful, in this case.

I'm really liking the way the cast plays off one another. Case in point: the episode where Lincoln and his sisters try to find the class pet tarantula Lincoln accidentally set loose so that Leni (the dumb blond sister) doesn't get the crap scared out of her. Also loved the way they worked...
As skeptical as I am about a Frozen sequel, the fact that it won't be a cheapquel is the one thing I like about it. They haven't made a theatrical sequel since The Rescuers Down Under (I know there's that Peter Pan one, but it was initially made for a home video release, so it doesn't count). :)
Remember when I said how this show frequently satirizes Millennial culture, including obsessions with modern gadgets? "Cellie" greatly exemplified that. I especially love how horror movie-esque the phone-finding feature got when Griz and Ice's phones began rising from the grave and tapping at...
Seems like some have a problem with "Bye Bye Bellum" and have compared it unfavorably to "Something's a Ms.", only in the latter it was about the Mayor getting seduced by Sedusa in disguise, while the former was about him needing to be independent. But apparently people are finding it a slap in...
Now there really is some huge crap going down with Mr. Maellard and the park employees as he sticks another dome over the park for some more "testing" and sticks a big red button in the center that they're told not to touch. Benson has an internal conflict about this as he wants to break free of...
Going by the trailer, it looks very lowbrow and by-the-numbers in spite of its decent-quality animation. It's getting a September release here in the U.S. but with no competition to speak of, so here's hoping it crashes and burns either way.
There's still a lot this reboot can do to reach that level of good as the "golden age" of the original, and I think the writers really are trying to build things up. But compared to the last 2 seasons and the "Dance Pantsed" special, it's made of platinum encrusted in precious gems.
The original farmland used for Teletubbyland has long since had a lake stuck in it by the owner to discourage fans from trespassing, which explains the use of obvious sets mixed with chromakey.
R&C really underperformed this weekend, which is sad as it looks like one of the best video game-based movies to come out. It even had the writer and director from TMNT behind it, as well as one of the writers of the games. But I expect it to turn a bigger profit internationally, seeing as that...
I don't believe the Nick Jr. series Little Bill deserves to be blacklisted either for the same reasons as Fat Albert. It was largely the work of others (including our very own Sonia Manzano as a writer!) with Cosby only creating the concept and doing one voice role.
I've read that the Brothers Chaps were approached by other networks (including Adult Swim) to create a full Homestar Runner animated series, but turned them down, likely because it would have been meddled with by the executives, or they would have had to sacrifice the rights to the characters...
Can't believe no one's reported this yet.
JHC has produced a new series called Word Party, which is a vocabulary-based preschool program using its digital puppetry system, and will be heading to the streaming service around June 3 along with two other original series...
