The other Titans speak in Pig Latin to deter Robin from being a creepy eavesdropper, leaving him to try to decipher it himself (which I admit was a pretty funny scene). There's a really good voice cast behind it, too. Josh Keaton, Jeremy Shada, Cree Summer... the list goes on. Also, Shiro was the Japanese name of the character. So they seem to be sticking a little closer to the source material in this incarnation.
