"Gets it"? Before I get what? Are you threatening me? (LOL, just kidding, Kyle. :D)
In another thread you gave that episode this identification:
2524 Maria's Preantic 1989
I assume you meant "pregnancy". And I still look forward to seeing it, whatever number it has. :)
I think it was Kathy Mullen who did that girl. Kathy appeared in several sketches during the early 80s, including "Frogs In The Glen" and another sketch where Professor David gets taught by his class about trees (she's the carpenter in that one).
This is true. I just got back from the MT&R where I saw this sketch in episode 1141. The scientist's name is Professor Von Fission, and he sounds EXACTLY like the Trash Heap.
When the robot destroys the lab, Von Fission laughs out loud! "Vhat did you expect for six dollars?"
If you haven't seen this episode, then don't read what's below, unless you don't mind spoilers as explicit as this.
In the episode before this one, Doc and Sprocket learned that Ned Shimmelfinny must move to the desert for his health. So, naturally, Doc tells Sprocket that they must...
That monster is known to us fans as "Beautiful Day Monster," since his first Ed Sullivan appearance.
Oh, and prickle747, thank you so much for those CDRs. They came in the mail today. And I hope you enjoy your tape ... ;)
IIRC, Baby's (only?) moment is in the spotlight, sitting in his high chair (or on a stool), introducing Woody Harrelson. I only saw that video once or twice. It's still worth it.
Those two cats are named Chip and Dip. Kevin did Chip, and Richard did Dip. You'll see them in SSU #2226, where they don't speak, but play in Hoots' band. Chip, who sounds like Elmo with a sore throat, also appears in SSU #2356, where he sings a song about cats.
I miss those cats. :(...
The audio of that sketch was released on the "C Is For Cookie" LP in 1974. I had no idea what was up with those BOINGs until I saw that sketch. :)
There should be a Cookie Monster "smiley" in this forum.
