Whats the name of the Two Cats that have the raspy voice and who performs them?

Little Jerry is prefromed by Jerry Nelson but who does the others. and the names of the charcters.

And when Oliva was Grodons Sis was she still his sis when she performed in BirdLand?

Hey Ernie! Are you talking about those cat twins? I remember them when I was a little tyke. I don't remember their names or if they were even giving names, as for performers, I believe they might have been performed by either Richard Hunt, Kevin Clash, Frank Oz, or Jerry Nelson.

As for the others from Little Jerry, I don't know.

And last but not least, I never saw Olivia in Birdland.

Those two cats are named Chip and Dip. Kevin did Chip, and Richard did Dip. You'll see them in SSU #2226, where they don't speak, but play in Hoots' band. Chip, who sounds like Elmo with a sore throat, also appears in SSU #2356, where he sings a song about cats.

I miss those cats. :frown: Luckily, however, I just obtained a copy of SS #2432, where they appear in the intro and sing a song to Oscar.

Unfortunately, you won't be seeing #2226, because they're not going to show those old shows anymore. :frown:

Thought I'd come in and answer a few questions.

1 If you go over to the Muppet Listings 8.0 thread in the Classic Muppets section of this forum, you'll find both of the twin cats you asked about. Their names are indeed Chip Cat and Dip Cat, though it's good to now know their respective performers. These two cats also appear in the Sesame Street video called "Learning Your Numbers."
2 If you go to the Muppet Listings 8.0 thread, you'll also find all four members of Little Jerry and the Monotones listed by name in the L section. They are: Little Jerry as lead singer, (Jerry Nelson), Big Jeffy, (unknown performer), Chrissy, (Christopher "Chris" cerf), and Rockin' Richard, (Richard Hunt).
3 Can't answer that last question cause I don't know whether or not Olivia (Alaina Reed-Hall) performed in Birdland.
Hope this helps and have a good day.

Count, Big Jeffy was performed by Jeff Moss who, as I'm sure you know, wrote a lot of music for the Street. He also performed Jeffy, a little boy who sang a song w/ Cookie Monster about going to the barbershop. This song was on the album "For the First Time".

Ernie, to answer your third question, yes, Olivia was still Gordon's sister. She began her run on the show in the late 70's and left in the mid/late 80's. From day one she was recognized as Gordon's sister. I don't know an exact date, but the Birdland song was from sometime in the mid 80's.

Thanks for the tip Link. Both Little Jerry and the Monotones' members and Jeffy are listed in the latest version, but now I know that Jeffy was another Muppet character. Thanks and have a good day.
