Why is discussing the possible art and features for the probable and eventual season 4 release jumping the gun? The DVD will likely be released sometime in the next 5-8 months. We're all talking about the Fraggle and Muppet theatrical films and there's still no final script on either yet. Are we...
It appears that Rowlf is in the background again in this. Hope I'm wrong. :sympathy: I'm just so happy and shocked that they can fit all these guys into an hour-long special! And man, Scooter is featured in several of the new pictures! ;)
Unfortunately the world of sports has a huge advertising market. Even the lesser-warranted games can gain enough support to air. Reruns are reruns as far as syndication is concerned in local markets. I'd say write the bums on a local level. I'm not much of a sports fan (since they instituted...
Holding off one character to make another one just creates the same problem for MR. Fozzie isn't the issue. There is a lack of interest in Muppet posers in general so they won't be pouring more money into any character for research and development. If they moved forward with one it would likely...
As the person who wrote those directions here's the quick skinny:
1. Order the black sticker felt from the company link listed.
2. Cut the felt into circles of the appropriate size.
3. Peel up the existing pupils with your fingernail and rubbing alcohol.
4. Apply your newly made circles...
The Fozzie issue isn't the size it is that no company will take another poser after the tepid response from Gonzo and Animal. A new prototype would be costly to make and just as costly to manufacture as a Fozzie Bear. At this point since his prototype has been built and approved he is actually...
I pitched this on the other thread but I will propose it here as well.
To cut down on price and insure quality would it be feasible Fozzie's body was factory made his head separately handcrafted later? :o
I ask this because the head is what seemed to be the issue. I still feel that there's...
EDIT: I just want to make sure it is known that I appreciate not only the efforts made by Terry and the folks at Master Replicas but also what they actually achieved = three great posers on my shelf!
We were very lucky to have Travis and Tom was great to eventually stop by here to clear...
Well he said it was pretty much dead. There's always hope, but that seems very dim indeed. I agree now that the line is likely dead. I wish the MR people had kept us in the loop from the beginning. It could have helped. There seemed to be an illogical distance they decided to keep from us when...
:) Hey MRTom!
I'm sitting here with my three posers looking forlorn over the complications with Fozzie, but beautifully so!
For all the minor tweaks and critiques I have stated in the past (the Animal one is up in the official MC and on MR reviews) I still think these were the best Muppet...
It appears that this is a particular pet project of Brian Henson's. That means it is likely to come out...eventually. I guess these things take time. :scary:
Don't forget that The Muppet Show DVDs are also available on Netflix and Blockbuster-by-mail services. One can't get easier or less expensive than that! But I do encourage actually purchasing the sets. They are well worth it for a lifetime of Muppety goodness. :)
That explains a lot. I do sure hope he's able to return to do some Goboing for the Fraggle film. I really believe that is his most important character - now more than ever.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Nelson in his recovery whatever he decides to do with the world of Muppets. He is...
I would support anyone's Scooter, but I do see some potential in Rudman. He has that playful side that Scooter's been lacking since Richard's passing. The voice seemed pretty good too and if that's his Janice than we have a winner IMHO! I just hope he sticks around. I know Sesame Street only...
Jerry's voice has been a little lower pitched since his Robin dub in VMX so his one-liners are hard for me to tell whether or not it is the great Mr. Nelson voicing his classic characters. That is, until any of them begin to sing. He's the Muppet performer with always perfect and distinct pitch...
