Fraggle Rock Complete Box Set Amazon Sales Rank

It just hopped over to Amazon and it appears as though HIT will have a hard time recovering their reputation for this particular release (at least on that site) no matter what their plans for single setting would be in the future. This really was a poor strategy that kicks some "muck and goo" at...

    Happy Birthday, Prawnie! ! !

    Happy Belated! ;) :)

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Is that blonde boa mop top available yet? I'm sure it will be popular. They should have that in a few colors. ;)

New Emmett Otter Jug-Band Christmas DVD

Sad frogboy. I wants me my Kermit back. :) I miss him so. Emmet Otter does too! :sympathy: I'll have to think about this purchase.

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Apparently the $90 deal is the good one. The $130 gift deal is a little wonky. I think it's just a folder/book of vinyl stickers to do the same thing online only it's called a "gift kit" and you have to mail it in. $90 is such a bargain that I think it's probably best to stick with that for my...

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Yaaaaaaay! I am pleased. Very pleased. :flirt: I don't see as much of an issue in the variety of features as some others have stated, however I would have liked to see more variations in placement of them. I am getting one of these, but the blonde wispy hair option isn't stocked at the...

Writing Campaign: Save the Fozzie Photo Puppet

Hi Travis! :sing: I always give you praise and high marks in my posts. I wouldn't say that any company *owes* its customers more than the products and services they provide. I do feel a business built on fan-based product should take extra care in the areas of customer relations than I felt...

Writing Campaign: Save the Fozzie Photo Puppet

Just some Froggy thoughts... The main reasons cited for the Palisades Muppet figures ending as I understood it (and how that might relate to the Master Replicas Muppet line): * There wasn’t enough of Muppet awareness in general (i.e. current Muppet projects or other exciting products) to...

Writing Campaign: Save the Fozzie Photo Puppet

It appears MR will be making more non-Muppet products like Ghostbusters etc, but they don't want to hear from their fans or customers so they closed their forum. I smell a turkey well before the Thanksgiving season. Maybe some bologna too. This is why I am a vegetarian. ;)

Okay - Here's REAL POTDC News - New Director

:coy: Woohoo! :scary: I could not be happier. No matter what I will be first in line for a ticket, but I also hope it lives up to Henson, Oz' and Froud's legacy.

Writing Campaign: Save the Fozzie Photo Puppet

I have a growing dissatisfaction with Master Replicas' customer relations. Except for Travis, I have always felt MR to have a cold approach to their fans and customers. They are entitled to that but it does not help them sell more widgets, whatjets or Muppets. ;) It appears, for whatever...

    Dreaming: MuppetFest 2010

    That is a perfect idea!

Anyone notice any cuts in Oz?

I agree. (With the exception of the too extended Ashanti opening credits) The uncut DVD version has a lot more Muppet zaniness. Kermit’s Passion one-liner is just too good for TV. :) I believe there was more Electric Mayhem too. Just a lot more fun. :flirt:

Okay - Here's REAL POTDC News - New Director

It appears to me it is getting a healthy budget; one that is huge for a Henson-related film and much smaller for most special effects Hollywood fare. Shooting in Australia helps with the budget. It also appears this studio was working with a top project before this (that failed due to too many...

    Prawnie's Muppet Appreciation Art!

It looks like Johnny Fiama has a thing for a grown-up and developed Skeeter. Hmmm. ;) I like your renderings of the Muppets. Gonzo, Rowlf, Floyd and Clifford are difficult characters to master and you have done the best job on those. :super:

    I Hate Fox!

I don't see the shows in competition. On the surface they look like one another but they are both vastly different. Even as more of a Family Guy fan I do realize that it would not exist if not for the solid road paved by the Simpsons. And has anyone seen the new Futurama DVD films? Fantastic...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Those are all great ideas! Everyone has shelving and could use bookends even if for DVDs! ;) I see those as sure-fire ideas. I especially like your theater seats suggestion. :flirt:

    Save the Fozzie Replica

I think the damage has been done already. Poor product photography, distance from fans/customers and material research that hindered the bottom line combined with the economy, the special nature of the items, the absence of the Muppet characters in popular culture (until recently) and the regime...

    I Hate Fox!

You do know that's the only Family Guy figure I have. It was a gift, but one that I wanted. That character is terrible and I should be offended, but it's just cracks me up. If he were spryer it would be a different story. I actually prefer the Family Guy. It isn't as thoughtfully written or...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

An Honest Editorial from a Disappointed Fan & Customer :super: First I have to state that Terry and Travis were always great to us and the product. It would be poor business judgment for MR to nix anything Muppet related if they have the license for it. It would also anger fans if they have...
