Not so far, but I did get by Adidas Kermit shoes from the Urban Outfitters online store a few years ago so who knows? I'd expect to see some of these shirts pop up on Ebay. They do have an iron on transfer without the Muppet Caper logo, but I don't think it's officially licensed.
Yep, that's right. There's a Great Muppet Caper T-shirt at Urban Outfitters right now! I spotted it last night while shopping with my fella and bought it. It is the classic picture of Gonzo, Kermit, Fozzie and Miss Piggy on the motorcycle crashing through the paper. The movie title is in its...
This is what I have so far from the TP and IMDB info.
Kermit, Rizzo, Bunsen, Beaker, Statler, Waldorf, Bean Bunny, Clifford, Sal, (likely Johnny) Pepe, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Camilla, Gonzo, Animal, Zoot, Janice, (likely Floyd and Teeth) Sweetums, Scooter, Sam and Bobo. The missing ones thus...
That's true. Seeing that MR was a no show at the ComicCon it's hard to tell what's going on! I do know that many collectibles stores are quite aware of these items and aren't biting so the word isn't getting to customers. Getting the word out is great, but will MR be responsive? They just lost...
We all now know the importance of Habitat for Humanity's efforts in building houses for people in need. It's not just a sweet gesture - it's a grave need for so many people. And it is not a government organization. It's actually has religious roots.
There really are many ways to contribute...
I have such a great distaste for Brand Politics no matter if it is Bush, Clinton or Kennedy. I have a *do all the good you can and get out* take on that particular arena. It should never become a lifestyle and should always be about public service. It always comes to light just how much that...
I still think the poser marketing strategy was wonky from the start. The Kermit seemed to get a strangely slow start, but he did okay. He should have done a lot better and such things like the Kermit Tour should have happened at the beginning rather than the end of his run.
Gonzo's nose...
Many politicians have an "ends justify the means" philosophy, but lately the ends and the means are pretty rotten. I still think that some of these people have deluded themselves so much they are beyond the aspect of caring. There is an old saying about the uselessness of debating the drunk or...
:excited: I agree with you. It doesn't seem that the film will be *carpeted* with music, but it does appear that songs will play a large part in the movie as they always have in the shows. This is likely why a lot of artists don't like to talk about their work - one or two perfectly fine words...
I won't get too particularly political with this except to say that this economic problem isn’t necessarily a partisan issue or one that stems from people of privilege in general.
I am from Houston where Enron was based and have lived in San Francisco for over 13 years. We were hosed by...
Although MFC is enjoyable, it is not my favorite Christmas special. I suppose it is a fan choice due to the cross-over casts, but I still like the John Denver special the best. I'm not a big Denver fan, but there's just something so sweet and understated about the whole production. Both can...
In the old Muppet Show days the chain of importance (or at least exposure) appeared to be something closer to this:
1 Kermit
2 Fozzie
3 Miss Piggy
4 Scooter
5 Rowlf
6 Gonzo
7 Statler & Waldorf
8 Bunsen & Beaker
9 Animal & the Mayhem
10 Swedish Chef
11 Sam Eagle
12 Muppet...
That is a very interesting and cryptic tale you have spun. I am intrigued. That is something that could potentially happen.
:shifty: I have heard current claims over at a widget-like forum that there are very few factories in China that can make their particular type of products. I initially...
Um...canya make me a Fozzie while you're at it? :o I still have hope for him even though it seems that MR is trying to clear their excess stock of posers by slashing the SRP so low. :sympathy:
Nicely said DW! It is always a pleasure to read your posts and articles. I didn't know the bits about Russell Hampton. The Muppets have had so many hoops to jump through. It seems that now they're finally getting somewhere. ;)
Yours is an amazing puppet! After working so closely with Gonzo product design in the past I would consider very slightly slimming the nose and darkening the pink on his lip a little bit. The nose is a tad more swollen than what I have seen, but is a lot more accurate than some of the official...
I can see that. Some much older fans passed on the Steve's Kermit years ago and haven't returned. It's such a difficult position to fill the frog's flippers! Witnessing some of the recent agility and performances of Kermit on the DC specials in comparison to some of his early work with the frog...
Here are some pictures of the three-pack containing Mahna Mahna, Thog and Sam and the other containing two Snowths on one stand, Gonzo and Miss Piggy. These are all pretty good as PVCs go.
These particular Mini Muppets were sold as three packs and not individually. They can be located on...
