Yeah, I always considered him to be sixteen or seventeen, possibly eighteen, although here's a quote from Muppet Wiki I posted somewhere else:
Although I still find it hard to believe that he'd be that close to my age.
Yeah, that makes it even odder. :concern: It's like if I were to...On second thought, I won't even try to finish that sentence.
Although I absolutely loved the Beaker scene when I first saw the movie a few years ago. (Good ol' nerdy Beaker is still the best, though.)
Eh, my dad doesn't like GMC or Dark Crystal either. Can't vouch too much for MFS, though because I hate sci-fi (but love The Twilight Zone) and disco/funk. :p
Yes, very great movie. :D I just saw it for the first time a few months ago, and now I really want to go read the novel sometime in the near future. Fantasy films, for the win! :scary:
I was on the "Fun Trivia" website taking a bunch of music quizzes, and I came across one quiz, "Elton John or Billy Joel?" I ended up getting 17 out of 25, although I didn't know many of the songs on there.
LOL. "Let's all sing The Rhyming Song, The Rhyming Song, The Rhyming Song, Let's take turns and rhyme together, The Rhyming Song!"
Right now I have a bunch of Bowling for Soup songs stuck in my head. I'm not complaining, though, because they're my favorite modern band. :sing:
Other than the Muppets ones, here are some of my favorites: (Technically, the Cats ones are from an official video release of the stage show, although there were plans to make a movie of it at one time.)
Cats
"The Rum Tum Tugger"
"Mr. Mistoffelees"
"Mugojerrie and Rumpelteazer"
"Memory"
Grease...
1. What's my mood like right now?
"Your Song"-Elton John
(*sighs and drools over keyboard* ^_^ <3 *snaps back to reality* Huh? What was the question again? :o)
2. How's tomorrow going to be for me?
"Gitchi Gitchi Goo"-Phineas and Ferb
("Hey Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today! We'll become...
The 80's Game, though technically a video game, has a few, along with at least one category on "Muppet Movies". :D For example, last night my mom and I were playing it, and the question was asking the name of the band in Bill and Ted (sorry if I got that wrong) with one answer choice being "The...
I agree, although currently I'm only halfway through the second book, along with several other books, such as the third part of the Kingdom Keepers series. :busy:
A bit off topic, but has the Dark Crystal series come out yet? :scary:
LOL, after art camp today, one of my friends and I went swimming, and she and I would just keep squirting each other with the water guns while talking like pirates. It was awesome! Although I've pretty much spent most of the summer at home and/or indoors, and when I was outside, it was...
There were several made during our recent trip to the puppetry museum and Disney World, but here's one of the few I still remember:
My parents and I are in the car with my iPod playing
iPod: *audio from the "awkward silence" moment in Great Muppet Caper*
My Mom: Okay, that's disturbing...
My...
I found this one on a quiz last night:
"Michelle, ma belle, some say monkeys play piano well, play piano well..."
The real lyrics are in French or something.
Well, at least you weren't sobbing throughout practically the whole movie, like I was. (And I don't even really see myself as the type to cry during movies/TV shows all that much.)
