What? They added marshmallows to Trix? Somebody's getting Miss Piggy karate chopped. Of course, I only had it once several years ago, but it was pretty good.
You wemble over whether you want the original of a song or the version from a Muppet production on your iPod. :coy:
As of now, I have both the original and SSt of Spin Doctors' "Two Princes" and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours"/"Outdoors", and I think I'll use the TMS version of "Bennie and the Jets".
Yeah, I loved that exhibit. I went a few years ago in Baton Rouge (or at least I think that's where it was), and then again there in Mississippi earlier in the year.
Oh, so that's really there? I was wondering if there was anything Muppet-related near the Chinese Theater after seeing the TV...
So, a week or two ago, my mom was just telling me that I got the songs "Crocodile Rock" and "Bennie and the Jets" stuck in her head due to the fact that we watched that Muppet Show episode so many times recently. A few minutes later she said that both songs were out of her head, to which I...
Yeah. Although later when I was taking a quiz with misheard lyrics, the second one used the words "done by sheep" instead of "with". Not quite as funny. :p
Also, I used to have a Radio Disney CD that included "The Saga Begins", Weird Al's parody of "American Pie". Considering that I've never...
I went to a "Name That Song" Jeopardy/"Misheard Lyrics" game program recently, and there were several, including:
Misheard Lyric: "I kissed a squirrel and I liked it, the taste of its cherry chopsticks"
Real Lyric: "I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick"
ML: "I can...
I'm kinda like that, but it really depends on the puppet.
When I was learning a bit about puppetry before actually doing it, one source said that your recessive (Would that be the right word in this case?) hand would often be better for puppeteering. I mostly did it that way (left-handed) since...
It's not too hot right now :), but a few days ago, I saw a squirrel seeking shade from the heat by relaxing underneath the slide in the backyard. It was so cute. :flirt:
Mmm...I love Cookie Crisp. (Yes, I am a kid/young teen/tween too. ;))
Although my favorite cereal (or at least currently) is Marshmallow Mateys, which is basically a cheaper pirate-themed Lucky Charms (ex. marshmallows, oat-type cereal pieces, etc.)
This is somewhat off topic, but my doctor suggested to use the mini M&Ms to practice swallowing pills. I was just wondering if they still make those.
Would Guy Smiley count as an obscure character? Because when we went there a few days ago, they had a few mini plushies of him and several other Sesame characters in the gift shop for the exhibit just along Deer Creek in Leland, Mississippi.
Yesterday we were in Leland (w00t!), and I ended up stocking up on merchandise at the gift shop of a small museum dedicated to Jim Henson just along Deer Creek. Here's a list of things I got:
Kermit "Keep it Green" bag
Fraggle Rock Sprocket patch
The Dark Crystal title logo patch
And 5...
So, my mom recently suggested I make this thread, and here is just where you post places you've been involving the Muppets and enjoyed.
Yesterday we went to Leland, Mississippi, a few hours drive, but worth it. Just along Deer Creek they have a small building housing a museum containing a few...
So, recently I found out that Fantasyland at Walt Disney World will be expanded, thus causing Toon Town to be demolished in the process. I was wondering your opinions for those of you Disney park fans. My thoughts, personally, are that as long as they're just moving Mickey and Minnie's houses...
