Oh, right, Leonard Nimoy. (As Forgetful Jones) I forgot. Uh, hee.
(Sorry for triple posting. I can't edit very well on my phone. I'll have to fix that later.)
So I just got the news that Tony Bennet died. I know he appeared on "Muppets Tonight!" rather than TMS, but I think he deserves an honorable mention here as well. He really did a great duet with Kermit on "Firefly."
So I saw on Muppet Wiki that Bert called him "Snuff" in a season 5 episode, contradicting an episode from the 80s where Bert thought Snuffy was imaginary too, but that could have been one of the earliest instances where he went by Snuff or Snuffy.
Okay, I have a quick question after seeing some 70s episodes online. I noticed Big Bird used to commonly call Snuffy "Mr. Snufflupagus," so I'm curious as to when he started going by 'Snuffy.' I know it was by the time of the Hawaii story arc which was sometime in the 70s. Also, when was it...
Yeah, I thought I remembered him from SS. It's easy to forget because now we have another famous Alan on SS who's still kicking and seen on the show regularly, but yeah, I remember hearing about the other Alan being seen on the show early on.
Great episode. Nice to see the backstory of how Floyd became Animal's official caretaker. Seems like they pulled a Bamm Bamm Rubble with that one though, just having the infant turn up on someone's doorstep without 'splaining who left him there, but still very good.
Really good. A TMS ep without the TMS Muppets. Next we'll probably see the TMS Muppets on the set of "Sesame Street" maybe with guest star Jerry Juhl or something or maybe "Pepe's World." Who knows?
That was Mr. Rogers? Wow! I should have guessed. His voice sounded somewhat different than on his other songs presumably because of the angrier tone which he rarely uses. Anyway, thanks for that info. Yes, it does answer my question.
So I did have a question about MC Radio and I figure this may be the best place to put it. You know that "Scary Bad Wishes" song, the one where a guy said he once was angry with his dad for spending so much time at his store and wished that a dragon would come and burn down the store? Does...
I liked Janice's song too. Very reminiscent of when she used to lead in song on "The Muppet Show." So she's allergic to lies? I hope she never dated Pinocchio.
Definitely. Good one for the season 52 finale. Hope to see more of Nina's family next season and Nina herself. Nice to see Cookie Monster and his mom as well. (Except I thought virtual CM scenes were taped from Dave's kitchen. How can there be two puppets. Did he perform both of them? Just kind...
I always thought it was 'party every day' myself and with a side job where I write captioning, I do pay attention to these things. Good ep overall. Dave's getting better and better with Janice. Fer sure. I also liked that they were able to get the EM's famous "Can You Picture That" song in...
