You know I wonder what Rocco's fate is now that Zoe has Gary the Gecko. Then again Elmo still has Dorothy even after he got Tango, so Zoe could have two pets as well. (Just one live one.) You never know.
Nope. He still has Dorothy. Recall at the end, he introduced Tango to Dorothy. (Sorry if I'm giving away a spoiler here, but I think we've all seen this by now.)
Okay. That's something to look forward to especially considering the current bald Gordon is one of the few cast members of "Classic Sesame Street" that are still living.
Yeah, they really need more Bert, Ernie and Oscar since those characters are mainly the comic relief. (Though I guess Bert would be more of the straight man type.) Anyway, nice to see something different other than all this "I wonder, what if, let's try' stuff.
Well, if Bert wanted to leave by...
Agreed. If I hear that song one more time on the show, I swear I'm going to scream.
Wow! I didn't think of that. Would have been neat if he had said it.
I was a little disappointed that I didn't see this episode until today. I know this one was supposed to air on PBS back in April, either my PBS affiliate missed that one or maybe I never caught it when it did air. We'll see what happens with the autism awareness episode for this year.
Captian Kangaroo? When was he on MT. I thought the first guest on that one was Michelle Pfeiffer unless there was an unaired pilot or something, but I thought Bob died before MT aired.
Racquel's gone too? I thought she was still active lately. Well, she'll dearly be remembered for her duet with Miss Piggy on "I'm a Woman/Wopig" and as Aunt Vesta on "Sabrina." She'll be dearly missed.
I remember those types of puppet characters from those commercials. I think one was performed by Artie Esposito who subbed for Steve as Kermit for a time in 2009, but I think Wally was the character I remember and that was a while ago. I don't think I'm familiar with Lenny, but that's...
Well, Tango has so it's possible.
You know I was thinking the same thing while I was watching. I was waiting for Elmo to say, "Elmo's glad Zoe finally got a real pet instead of that stupid rock!"
I don't know. I kind of wonder about that because in SS's 50 years of existence nearly all major characters have been recast at least once, but Zoe is kind of the most noticeable, her and Big Bird actually. Kids these days are a lot smarter than we think.
But I did read through that interview...
True. But still no explanation as to why her voice changes all of a sudden. :) Nice that they still keep her in the tutu though when adding new material to repeat episodes.
Yeah, seems like Louie's been getting a lot of airtime lately. Yet, there's been no sign of Mae this season. Hopefully, they're still together. :)
Makes me wonder if since there are fewer humans in the cast these days, they seem to be focusing more on having the adult Muppets take their place.
Yeah, I agree. Seems like we're losing a lot of cast members, but it seems like SW saw this coming. That could be why we're just down to Alan, Chris and Nina as the only adult humans on the show. (Well, and Frank and Dave, not Oz and Rudman, but Nina's brother and brother-in-law, but they...
I saw that last year. That's very convenient since I'll be working when it's on today and that way I won't have to wake up early tomorrow to see the ep. They really need to get more of those eps up there. Then again, I might get a subscription to HBOMax for Christmas, so hopefully I should be...
