    Any Mel Blanc Fans?

I'm inclined to believe you, Was Once Ernie. If you've known people who knew Mel, that's pretty concrete evidence. And I could imagine that Mel may have added a hint of b.s. (that's bug snot for those under 18) to his bio. And on a related note, if you really want to read an autobiography...

    New monster on e-bay

That puppet is beautiful! The more I see what people on this website are creating with puppets, the more envious I get of their incredible talent. And believe me, this puppet is cause for some serious envy!

    Any Mel Blanc Fans?

I bought Mel Blanc's autobiography way back in 1988 (just before he died), and in it he confirmed that he is, indeed, allergic to carrots. Talk about irony (and carrots are a good source of iron)!

    Happy Birthday MGov!!!

A very happy birthday, though my condolences on it being so close to Christmas, since, historically, those with birthdays close to Christmas always get screwed in the present department.

    Muppet cartoon by Lowercasegods

Do you really think anyone here would care about my Yenny pic? I mean besides you, me and Dave Alvarez? I just figured if it wasn't Muppet related it wasn't worth it. But if you think there's interest, who knows?

Thank God for you, Vic! If it weren't for you, I'd never get responses (perhaps a slight exaggeration, but it always instills confidence to see your name pop up in this thread)!

Avenue "Q" Movie In the Makes

I hadn't heard about this, but it's wonderful news if it's really going to happen! A similar off-Braodway show, Reefer Madness, was also recently turned into a movie and was just incredible, so I'd be anxious to see what they'll do with Avenue Q!

    MC Radio: Nitpick

I don't think it's a nitpick at all. In fact, I'm glad you mentioned it. Bud Luckey is an unsung genius of animation and deserves credit for his great work for Sesame Street and beyond.

Vic Romano's Weekly Creative Muppet Visuals

Very beautiful, Dave. Where do you find your source images for your pieces? Or do you make them yourself or take the photos yourself? While I do use Photoshop for coloring, I still consider myself a novice, so mad hats off to you for all your killer skills in Photoshoppery!

    The Tim Burton Apprieciation thread

Tim Burton is second only to Jim Henson in my book. The man is a brilliantly dark creator who never ceases to inspire me. My favorite film of his is Sleepy Hollow. My fiance and I have even decorated our kitchen in a Tim Burton-theme, with lots of movie posters and little toys of his characters...

PUPPET PROPOSAL (and I mean marriage!)

Thanks, Zns! The Muppet Exhibit was at the Flint Sloan Museum in Flint, Michigan (about an hour from where I live). It was a traveling exhibit and extremely cool. One of the exhibits they had there allowed people to perform alien puppets on a cratered landscape using TV monitors, and I...
