Oh man. I'm sorry, guys. I was afraid this would happen, but it didn't really occur to me until I was done drawing it. I guess that just shows my age and how out of touch I am to think that a movie that came out twelve years ago would make a good subject for a cartoon in 2006. Well, at least you...
Okay, gang. Here's the Sesame Street cartoon I promised. But first, a disclaimer: If you haven't seen the movie "Ed Wood," then this cartoon won't make any sense to you, and I apologize for that. I usually try to do cartoons about lesser seen Muppets, but in this case, I wanted to use some...
Can I just admit here and now that I have a crush on Mokey? Thank you. Feels good to get that off my chest. It was fun drawing Boober (well, MOST of Boober), but drawing Mokey was a real labor of love. Thanks for the props Dave, and everyone else, too.
I've got my first Sesame Street cartoon...
Actually, he has no eyes, which is the joke. I was worried that I may confuse people by including the little fold at the bridge of his "nose", making them mistakingly think that it's his eyes. I'm just a stickler for detail, so I included it. I regret if it makes the joke a little hard to get.
Okay, in the hopes you're not sick of these, here's yet another Muppet cartoon. This one is the promised follow up Fraggle cartoon. Hope you guys dig it.

Okay, here's the latest Muppet cartoon. It's not the Fraggle one that I promised, but that's still on the way.
I'd been wanting to do a comic about the old Gorch characters from Saturday Night Live, so I made it happen with this latest strip.
Anyway, hope you guys like this...
I'm tossed on this one. Obviously my affection for Sesame Street dictates that I resent this cartoon. But the editorial cartoonist in me sees the merit in taking an iconic symbol like Cookie and putting him in disturbing circumstances to make a point. You may find it dark and wrong, but the...
Thanks! I've had some replies from Fraggle fans in the past couple months asking for Fraggle cartoons, and now I think I'm ready to provide. The next one should be cool (and less poop-oriented!).
Here's a new one in the Fraggle Rock vein. Hope you like it. I have another Fraggle Rock cartoon planned for very soon.

This is by far my favorite puppet I've seen by any builder on this message board! He's adorable, and so facially animated, which has to be difficult! That mouth looks wonderfully expressive, kind of like Beaker's or Wontkins'. Beautiful, beautiful work. I really wish I could afford to buy it...
Thanks for giving me a bump back to the forefront, Dave. I've actually been wracking my brain trying to come up with a new Muppet cartoon, something really original, but nothing's hit yet. Hopefully people will dig the old stuff I've posted here for the meantime.
From my experience, Dave, the bulk of young comic fans these days have latched on to Manga books. I taught a few cartooning classes recently, and that's ALL the kids wanted to draw, and frequently brought in countless Manga books (read 'em back to front!) as reference material. At least they're...
I think Bill Baretta would be perfect. If you listen to some of the voices he's given his characters, many of them sound a bit like Richard's. Plus, he has Richard's natural, often improvised sense of humor. A perfect match for Junior Gorg.
If it were going to be a straight Muppet production, then Gonzo would definitely be the go-to guy for The Phantom (though I think Christine would have to be Annie Sue, just because Camilla isn't much of a talker!).
However, if it were a production that picked and borrowed from the countless...
I read comics, I write and draw comics, heck, I live and breathe comics. I'll always love superhero comics (Marvel and DC will always beat out Image in my mind), but I also love the macabre stuff coming from DC's Vertigo imprint, and Dark Horse does a great job with established properties like...
Vic "Dave" Romano has a birthday? How could this be? I thought men of his caliber were chissled out of stone or manifested by the devine whim of the gods on high, not born of mortal woman! Well, however he entered this world, I'm just glad he did. Many congrats and a mighty shout out to my...
In my opinion, Uncle Deadly is (and forgive the really bad Muppet-worthy pun) dead-on to play The Phantom of the Opera. Of course, I don't think a white half-mask will make him look any less hideous!
