My friend is supposed to rent it from like an indie video store, but he said the dvd only plays in certain players.. like a certain format that not all players can play.
Showbiz was a cool place... I was a regular at the local Chuck E. Cheese and Showbiz was a special treat (it was further away, and I believe it existed after the Chuck E. Cheese closest to me closed down.)
Did Muppet Time take place after they stopped using the name Muppet Matinee? I remember when they ran out of Henson specials for Muppet Matinee, they started airing Muppet Babies and the Muppet show together as part of Muppet Matinee. The only shorts I remember seeing were the music videos as...
bad guys- I think they should be human, a Muppet bad guy wouldn't be as threatening. My ideas for actors playing bad guys are: Christopher Walken, Danny Devito, Steve Buscemi, and Joe Pesci. The outline I wrote calls for 2 bad guys, so It would probably be one scary looking guy (Walken or...
I'll try writing my own as well, the only things I don't like are it being a prequel and the Muppets (Electric Mayhem) being involved with the Mafia. The Mafia should be the bad guys.
Before Kermit is actually arrested he can know that he is a suspect, he can call on the gang to get to the bottom of who framed him.
Kermit: Gang, there's a good chance I can go to jail, and the fate of the Muppets will be at stake. We could lose our jobs, we could lose our house, we could...
I was thinking the crime can be some kind of counterfeiting business. I don't know if it should be something like counterfeit money, poker chips, or something ridiculous like counterfeit rubber chickens.
Before Kermit is proven not guilty, most of the media is potraying him negatively. The Muppets can be watching Conan O'Brien when he makes a joke about Kermit being guilty.
Fozzie: Boy that was a cheap joke, even for me.
Immediatley Pepe will do some kind of cheap joke.
There can be...
Yeah I like the idea of having Gonzo wind up in the cell with him.
I was thinking as a gag, the cops can be taking Kermit through the cells to where he will go, and we see his POV of a scary, dirty prison full of big guys, monsters (maybe some of the pirates from MTI), and Howard the pig...
To counteract the worst things the Muppets have done, what do you think are the best things they have done this year?
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
2. Palisades figures
3. "Keep Fishin'" Weezer video
4. the return of the Kermit balloon
The Swedish Chef can be a cook at the casino, Beauregard can be a janitor, and Pops can be a regular at the casino. They can all know what's going on with the crime, and let Johnny and Sal know, they'll kind of be the main detectives. Maybe Piggy can even be a Vegas dancer in one of those big...
Johnny and Sal revealed that they caught the bad guys confession (told to Kermit and Fozzie before Scooter is revealed) on tape.
yeah! there has to be a scene where Johnny is in a casino lounge singing. Maybe Rowlf can be playing piano for him at the gig, and Sal can be disguised as a...
Sal and Johnny having connection in Las Vegas hehe... Sounds good to me...
I forgot that it's supposed to be a tv movie, and the real thing will probably be associated with a holiday again, wouldn't be surprised if it's another Christmas movie. Here's another idea similar to what I mentioned...
Re: Re: goodbye.
and that threatening menace.... Micheal Eisner?
in the past 10 years, the things they released that I believe are truly good are: (Muppet Vision 3D is just over 10 years)
Lilo and Stitch
and the things they put out that were not responsible for creatively:
Nightmare...
That's something I've been meaning to ask about for a while on here... the Kermit Channel. I remember a few years ago one of my high school teachers who was a big Muppet fan (he wore a Kermit tie often) brought in an article about the Kermit Channel. Supposdly the Kermit Channel had more...
How about Kermit gets framed for committing a crime? The gang including Fozzie, Gonzo, Piggy, Rizzo, Rowlf, Scooter, Electric Mayhem, Pepe, Bean, Sweetums, Honeydew, Beaker, Johnny, and Sal (and muppet fans) have to save him from going to jail. It can feature yuppie mothers criticizing Kermit...
Paul Reubens wasn't in Monkeybone though, it was a rumour that he'd be in it. However you can do it this way if you can include directors:
Dave Foley was in MonkeyBone, directed by Henry Selick
Henry Selick directed Nightmare Before Christmas with Paul Reubens, Paul Reubens was on Sesame...
Why not hate "sharks"? they're evil people. Evil people that have millions of dollars. People that have millions of dollars that use women and children in slave shops to make their merchandise. Merchandise of their garbage productions...
I'd chip in money to buy, but the only thing is, if every registered user on Muppet Central, Tough Pigs, Palisades, etc. got involved, there still probably wouldn't be enough people.
