Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
The Disney stores are for the most part horrible now, it's all Disney princesses and Winnie the Pooh. Sone of them are however starting to get a few collectable pieces here and there.
I remember going into the Sesame Street store looking for anything kermit but they didn't have anything...
Good call on Nightmare songs here's some:
"Making Christmas" sung by the Muppet Monsters (has to include Sweetums)
"Kidnap the Sandy Claws" sung by Floyd, Janice, and Dr. Teeth
maybe Gonzo, Scooter, and Piggy... I could imagine their voices singing it...
"Christmas All Over Again" (Tom...
Well this could be good news, this could be bad news, or maybe it won't change anything. We'll just have to wait and see. Although whatever they do now, good or bad will probably be credited to this sale. The comments from Valentine seemed positive.
Well it's probably been one of the best years for the Muppets post-Jim. Maybe you think everything they did this year was great, but maybe you thought they could have passed on a few things. What do you think was the worst thing they did this year?
I would say 2 things they could have...
I don't think the people that made those even knew who performed who, they just picked the most popular characters. It's kind of weird how Animal became seperated from the The Electric Mayhem, it's just because they didn't want to produce merchandise for all the other band members, because they...
The Sesame Street Muppets have to go... so I took the mean one first... Oscar. Snuffy should be next... He was an imaginary character, only to sell out and reveal himself to everybody, and take part of a cheap add-on character (his kid sister).
So many Henson productions seem to get better with every viewing. Emmet Otter may be one of the top 10 direct to TV productions ever released by anybody, in any genre. You simply don't see quality made like this anymore. As far as Christmas movies go, I think this is as much of a classic as...
I thought it was just Lew he didn't do, that's what Tough Pigs has on the cast list. I think his voice just sounded a little different at first, actually Robin looked a little different too, so that could have added to his awkwardness on the first viewing. However after watching it several...
I pretty much agree with everybody... If Disney bought them, the theme park angle would be one of the only positive things to come out of it probably. Disney may make garbage movies now, exploit and overmerchandise their characters, and use slave shop women and children to make their...
Oh man, I would love to see that done! the pairing of the Muppets and Paul McCartney would be amazing! The songs are perfect for them to sing with him. One of the muppets would have to sing the line "Judy, Judy, Judy, Judy, Judyyy!" Maybe Dr. Teeth... If the Fox show is gonna have guest stars...
This is one of my favorite muppet productions, the darkest they have ever gotten, and well balanced with humor. I'd like to see them do more dark stuff, possibly if they wind up doing one of those Haunted House/Monster scripts, The music is great, "It feels like Christmas" always gets stuck in...
Pepe... he can be funny, but he is only out for himself... and he's not deserving of being in the main group as of yet, Rowlf and Scooter deserve to be back in the main group more.
I just watched "The Muppet Musicians of Bremen" that I taped about 10 years ago when Nickelodeon had "Muppet Matinee". The puppetry on it is amazing. Except for a few shots where you can see the strings on the marionettes, all the characters are completley life-like, more than any computer...
That'd be cool... maybe as an exclusive through Weezer only like at their shows and through their website... They do however have several different Weezer shirts with Muppets on them...
"The Muppets will be everywhere"
That's what I'm afraid of if Disney bought the company. There's something that makes the scarcity of the Muppets special. Think about how excited you probably were when you found series 1 in the store for the first time, or just recently series 2. It's...
A Halloween special sounds interesting, they could parody horror films... maybe have guest stars like Christopher Lee, Johnny Depp... I'd love to see Kermit dressed as Jack Skellington for some type of parody... If NBC wants another Christmas special however, I think they should do another...
Touchstone:
Nightmare Before Christmas (stop motion animation)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (well a movie with animation in it...)
classic style Disney animation:
Robin Hood
Lilo & Stitch (best thing Disney has done in a long time, too bad they're gonna ruin it with sequels and a tv show)...
One of the lines seemed to reflect the current position of the company. "It will always remain the muppet theater no matter who owns it". They've now seemed to prove it, even with a different company owning them, and being up for sale for another company, throughout all of this, despite what...
