musical guests I'd like to see:
eels (they do crazy stuff sometimes),
Flaming Lips (they have people dressed in bunny costumes),
Los Straight Jackets (they play surf rock and dress as Mexican wrestlers),
Flogging Molly (Irish folk punk),
Nada Surf,
They Might Be Giants (they wrote...
I don't think it should be current flavors of the month, however I don't think it should be has-been Broadway stars from the 70's either. Of course most of the guests would be promoting something even if they don't mention it in the show itself. Somebody like Robin Williams would be a perfect...
Any boy band or rapper (especially the white ones), any current teenage pop singer (especially those from American Idol). As far as actors go, I wouldn't like to see the ones that aren't really actors but music industry careers crossing over to the film industry (Britney, Eminem).
here's what I'd like:
1. Waldo and several Penguins
2. Statler and Waldorf with 3D Glasses and white flags
3. Statue of Liberty Piggy w/ Bean
4. Sam in Salute to all nations but mostly America outfit w/ one or two soldiers
5. Swedish Chef w/ projector and cannon
Those would be awesome exclusives for the parks! They have exclusive Star Tours figures, so why not for Muppetvision 3D?! Palisades don't have the rights to JHH, but what about this? Could this be negotiated as in the specials?
hmm ok thanks. I guess if I happen to get a kermit really cheap I'll try that for a detailed Kermit pez. I really want to try a character there isn't a pez of already though. Rowlf and Scooter seem like they'd fit on a pez the best.
Better than most of the garbage that's out there, I'd rather my little cousin be watching this than Power Rangers or those weird CG things on the Disney Channel. Better than Muppet Babies, not as good as any other Muppet produciton.
I was thinking of getting an extra Rowlf to attempt a Rowlf fantasy Pez dispenser. Has anybody else popped off the head of any of their figures? Does it come off easily?
Adaptation not winning best adapted screenplay is an outrage. They probably just didn't want to give an award to a guy who won't be photographed and his fictional deceased brother. Charlie Kaufman is probably the best screenplay writer out there, I mean he's so good that he's the first...
Yup that's it, this is Mike Johnson's first full length feature. I just don't know if Burton is actually producing it... Wish I knew what studio too...If Burton isn't attached to it anymore this could easily become something similar to Monkeybone. (where Burton had nothing to do with it but...
I just learned today that he was Presbyterian minister. That's one more thing I respect him for, not so much for being a minister, but for producing a children's show that didn't preach religion like many other religious produced children programming. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was for everybody...
One of entertainment's only genuine people has been lost. Mr. Rogers was not a man out for merchandising and making profit, like so much of children's entertainment is these days. He was a man out to educate and change the world.
I'm so sure that Burton is still attached to Corpse Bride, he's not directing it, he might be a producer like on Nightmare, but either way it should turn out good.
And as for Danny Elfman's songs I think they're the best songs in a motion picture musical ever! (second would probaly come Paul...
when you say stop-motion film, Nightmare is a given... no other stop-motion film has come close...
Vincent is a good short,
Monkeybone had some interesting stop motion bits, but way too much of it edited out in favor of live action,
James and the Giant Peach I liked it pretty much expect for...
Hearing the days of the Animaniacs and Disney's Doug being referred to as "the good old days" is a bit weird. (I spent most of the summer being Wacko from the Animaniacs at a Six Flags park and most people thought I was Mickey). It all depends on what generation you're a part of. For me, the...
I remember reading that it wasn't gonna be Selina Kyle but another character who is Catwoman, which didn't sound very good. If they're gonna do it they might as well do it right and get Michelle Pfeiffer.
